Yes ilove if there's any soft tape action, then I'd like first dibs please, together with my fellow perv measurer richtea.

Ilovelblue · 17/03/2015 23:03

orphan I have my work cut out sorting out CJ's tour. I need to go to bed and think about it carefully. I will come up with a plan shortly. In fact, it's not just a tour manager he needs but a whole raft of people. What's the expression? "Behind every successful captain is a team of MN obsessives...."??

Richtea19 · 17/03/2015 23:13

Wow, amaz, ing FF. lola I'm really enjoying Jakes Secret. I do imagine him to be like CJ though, slightly obsessed!!!!
nipper and whajeb fantastic too!!!!

rhubarb seriously talented. Fantastic new story and I'm hooked already.

Nickel45 · 17/03/2015 23:17

Ooh lola, a treat for bed time, yippee!!!
There are more new writers too ... anyone on here? time to 'fess up?!

thanks ice that is a lovely one to wake up to!

That picture reminds me of the Kitchener "I need you" forget the rest of the country pose and the answer just has to be Yes, 100% by your side!!

BK28 · 18/03/2015 07:25

Loved the image of the aircraft dash ilove, but just take note that the 6' plus guys become all protective of the 5'3" girls whilst us 5'11"s are often left to fend for ourselves. Just take a look at CJ and MD!! Jackie, who looked like she could take care of herself, didn't get a look in ...I rest my case!! Or was that a little bit of jealously on my part about how really it would be nice to be swept up and cocooned in someone nice and tall's arms!!
Anyway CJ/BA at 6'2" will work for me!!
Sorry if that was a bit of an early morning rant!!

icemistOBE · 18/03/2015 07:35

It is one of my favourites BK

Ilovelblue · 18/03/2015 07:36

BK28 that made me laugh, sorry it probably shouldn't have. But to reassure you that I'm not that helpless type, I was with my boss and another colleague yesterday talking about a really horrid member of staff. In a joke I said my boss should protect me and he smirked and said 'you are pretty good at looking after yourself'.....

orphan · 18/03/2015 07:45

Morning. That pic is a real swoon worthy one. And yet again I feel he is looking into my eyes and thinking "Later, Orphan later" .

BK28 Ah but who do the Hollywood stars, slebs and billionaires choose to hang off their arms? The 5ft 11 leggy ones! I'm sure CJ doesn't discriminate on height, just as he is open to all iceberg size.Grin

BK28 · 18/03/2015 08:06

I think the difference hereorphan is not just the length of leg but the girth of body. LOL I'm definitely NOT a size zero!!

BK28 · 18/03/2015 08:24

Thanks for making me laugh girls, early morning low self esteem I think coming through... perhaps occasionally I'd like to admit vulnerability, instead of being able to take care of myself!!
In my head perhaps I am a size 10 with legs up to my arm pits, confidence oozing from every pore... don't think I'll look in the R/L mirror today and who knows what might happen!! Smile Grin

Twiggy's version of Noel Cowards "Mad about the Boy" popped up yesterday and listening to the lyrics it struck me that it summed us up!!!

Off to the real world for me now and I'll check in later today to see where this alternative universe has taken us. Have a good day everyone!!

percyjackson1 · 18/03/2015 09:02

In view of CJ's handyman status I think I'd like to apply for the position of his plumbers mate as I fixed the washing machine yesterday without flooding the kitchen and only a minimal amount of swearing.

Nipper that was great, unnecessary vapours about the dialogue, I was there folded in half on a similar tiny chair willing them on

cjwoofwoof · 18/03/2015 10:02

Morning! Still struggling with Internet here for some reason. One minute everything's fine the next I can't even access the MN website, gah! It's blimmin annoying. Do you think CJ is an IT expert as well as an excellent soldier and plumbing officionado? If so then I require his spanner to probe my hard drive for sure Grin

Love the update nipper and wish there was some CJs at my DS's school. Would make the upcoming parents evening a whole different ball bag. There's some really excellent ff at the moment and I take my tricorn hat off to all of you for such quality writing [deep bow].

orphan · 18/03/2015 10:03

nipper lovely update, thank you. I'm glad Molly cleared up the living with Smurf misconception.

greenstuff is back as well. I love her descriptions of the children and just reading about a Molly and Charles who are further down the path of married life.

Still got a stinky cold and am trying hard to motivate myself to go into town and sort out the last few things my dd needs for a trip abroad next week. How long does sun cream last? I always buy new every year even if there's some left, but I'm wondering if I can just send her with last year's dregs. Also, hope there are flip flops in the shops now.

cjwoofwoof · 18/03/2015 10:11

percy isn't plumbers mate some kind of grey sticky putty stuff they use to botch up joints that don't fit? Then again CJ would be dipping his fingers in on a regular basis I suppose.

cjwoofwoof · 18/03/2015 10:17

There should be a use by date on the sun lotion, surely orph. Last summers lotion should be totally fine. I've seen flip flops and bikinis etc in the shops too so you should be ok. It's crap when you're off colour and still got to do the chores/jobs. Maybe CJ is also a Personal Shopper/Carer who can take care of these sorts of things when you feel poorly, so you can stay in bed and rest.

orphan · 18/03/2015 10:38

OK, just located the sun cream and it says 12 months (can't believe I've never looked before!) so will be fine. We've already been through the bikini trauma (ASOS deliveries were arriving daily) cos apparently last year's are no good at all now. I'd have preferred if the school just said swimsuits only - would have saved the numerous "Are you sure the bottoms are meant to be that small? " type conversations.

orphan · 18/03/2015 10:40

I think part of CJ's care package would be joining the invalid in bed...

pixieg1rl · 18/03/2015 10:53

It's bloody roasting here. All this lazing in the heat is making me feel rather frisky. Pity I have a 4 year old permanently attached to me. I'm channelling my frustration into some M rated ff that I'll be too embarrassed to publish.

orphan · 18/03/2015 11:15

pixie woah there - you can't reveal you're writing some QS and threaten not to publish it!!! We're overdue an M rated CJ thrill.Grin

Ilovelblue · 18/03/2015 11:21

Yes pixie I echo what orphan has just said. We're very broad minded on here anyway so we won't be embarrassed! We've not had any M rated stuff for ages and ages.

Nickel45 · 18/03/2015 11:22

Pixie, that's just not fair, just send it to us if you don't want to publish it :)

Nickel45 · 18/03/2015 11:40

ilove "we're very broadminded on here" ... understatement of the century!!!

Ilovelblue · 18/03/2015 12:06

Nickel I was trying to be encouraging. Of course, I could have said "pixie, we have minds like sewers on here. We are unshockable. Get it published!"
