I finally watched ep 7. Fucking brilliant!!!!!

Ok boring ho hum episodic plot as usual, and the porthos father plot was unsurprisingly an anticlimax, but FUCKIN ELL the series arc plot is finally kicking in at last!!!! And its going to be epic!!!

Rochefort finally showing his true colours and getting his comeuppance.

Treville getting back in the saddle at last.

The highest possible stakes for queenie, aramis, dauphin and france.

Marg coming good, saving aramis and dying

Constance: Im with nora now - shes totes either brown bread or bastille. good cos her s2 character is beyond sappy and that blue dress was hideous. See tamla, sometimes fan investment in character is a good thing!

Milady redeeming herself and fighting alongside the boys and shagging athos passionately before dying / disappearing into the shadows.

Really annoyed now that that catherine bird is going to come back and get involved, cos I think it will get in the way tbh. THATS QUITE ENOUGH PLOT ALREADY THANKS ADRIAN.

madame that's what I thought about MW. I expected better of him having seen him in other stuff. Just a bit disappointed he seems to have been written so poorly. Obvs with an expectation of only lasting one season. At least with the cardinal and milady they were written with more depth.

I think he'll be getting better writing in the next two eps mouse. I think they all will, now its finally getting down to it and losing all the filler.

And it was episode 8, of course, not 7.

I have to agree though, with the tension being ramped up between Milady and Athos, of they don't get some action then I will be banging my head of a brick wall somewhere.

Hope we do get better writing for S3 because S2 in parts has come across as a bit like they're 'hamming it up'. Great actors - some shit writers - daft plots - no naked Athos. Overall, a bit disappointing !
