issy will I still like Verity by the end?

I'm also tempted to buy all the books - curse my self-imposed buying embargo

Enormouse · 08/03/2015 23:14

I liked jolyon but I like Rupert graves in anything. I found the kids in series 2 really irritating. By the end I didn't care what happened to them.

I'm very tempted by the books too. Already downloaded the first one onto my kindle. It has a very fetching cover with a portrait of AT.
It's like they anticipated impressionable women lust filled crazies would want to read it after the series came out.

AnneOfAramis · 08/03/2015 23:17

Mouse - that's exactly what I thought when I saw his face pop up. I refs one paragraph on Wikipedia and now know what's going to happen FFS.

FancyFancy · 08/03/2015 23:20

Normally I do like Rupert Graves, so that was surprising. Yes to the kids being irritating. The architect was Bosinney, quite tasty!

I think I'd rather be a lust filled crazy than an impressionabel woman Wink, but either way, AT on the cover is a selling point, as you say!

Enormouse · 08/03/2015 23:35

Oh yeah, Phillip Bosinney. He was gorgeous but a bit too airy and wet (like Irene).

I'm guilty of cheating and reading ahead on Wikipedia. Don't know why I do it to myself.

The chat on the actual poldark thread is quite literary. Not much highbrow discussion about FAFness or other important things.

I'll stick to the tavern methinks.

Enormouse · 08/03/2015 23:45

Must get to bed though, as I could probably spend all night talking.

Night wenches

FancyFancy · 08/03/2015 23:51

I went to bed at 9, after seeing the first few minutes of Poldark ( he looked good, but I was too tired to stay up) , but now I am up!!

MavisGrind · 09/03/2015 07:37

Morning all. It is going to be a good day today for I am Mave and that is my decision.

Off to work - see y'all later, happy wenching.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 09/03/2015 08:04

Morning wenches. Spent the evening with my parents here, then DC wrangling, then looking for some documents I need for the car I'm getting (squeeee), and then watching Poldark.

I thought it was a good episode as far as setting things up was concerned. AT is hot and has perfected his brooding, slightly confused stare. Seems a nice chap. Baddy George is very creepy but then I recognised him as the dopey fellow from Blandings. It's not Musketeers but it'll do.

Ooo Aramis "stripped"! Can't believe we have to wait two weeks. Again.

Have fab days wenches

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 09/03/2015 08:37

Dear Lord. Madame - look away now.

Sorry about the beardy man. Not often you hear that on this thread.

FancyFancy · 09/03/2015 08:44

Morning .
Hope you managed to get back to sleep chaise

suzie_shooter review here. I feel tempted to comment so I can spring to Aramis's defence : Anne: "Thank God I have one precious memory to sustain me." Aramis only managed the once that night then? XD Outrageous slur!!! I bet that's because Aramis can make once last all night

MadamedeChevreuse · 09/03/2015 09:03

Oooooh no sparks he looks faf there! (and I dont mean the spare beardy guy...)

MadamedeChevreuse · 09/03/2015 09:05

That is a bloody nice suit. I like a good suit. He looks all broad and confident and...

MadamedeChevreuse · 09/03/2015 09:06

Angry suzie shooter. She's an aramis hater. Like I said, she's dead to me now.

Enormouse · 09/03/2015 09:11

Morning. Babymouse has slept in. I don't like it, it's too suspicious,ll he's plotting something.

MiladyBeaWinter · 09/03/2015 09:35

Morning. Mine did that too Mouseonly by 25 minutes but suspect it would have been longer if DH hadn't started clattering around in the bathroom. It's usually a sure sign DS is coming down with something .

I didn't manage Poldark last night, DH was less than keen and as I'd lain in bed until midday didn't think I could push it. We did two espisodes of House of Cards 3 instead. Anywench else watching that?

I'm off to watch Poldark right now. Brew and [cheerywave]

IssyStark · 09/03/2015 09:39

Mouse it's always un-nerving when they do that. Usually with mine it was either a growth spurt or a cold. Here's hoping for a growth spurt Smile

Alibabsandthe40Musketeers · 09/03/2015 09:41

Morning wenches!

Loved Poldark, dreamt about AT which was very hot nice, but why oh why do I never dream about any Musketeers!!

They won't kill of any of the four of them, that would be insanity. I know it is only loosely based on the books, but none of them die in those.

sparks the bandana gif is hot. Normally Santi leaves me a bit cold, but this weeks episode I could really see the appeal.

ApricotCrush · 09/03/2015 10:08

Morning.

Watched Poldark and enjoyed it. It's not TM of course, but it will be something to watch after the boys have gone. Sad I went to the MN Poldark thread after and it was all a bit staid until the wenches turned up. Grin

Enormouse · 09/03/2015 10:13

I'm hoping a growth spurt, he's only just got over a cold.

He came down for a bit, had his breakfast but was in an awful, grumpy mood. Nothing would make him happy, but he's not ill. So I've put him down for another nap.

It's going to be a long day.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 09/03/2015 10:14

Morning All.

Apricot - we're duplicating our decorations, though mine are over on the new thread (warped great minds and all that!)

Badders good luck with the day. I shall put on a second load of washing now, while we have some sunshine to try and dry it.

Didn't watch Poldark, am not planning to so Hmm to all Poldark chat. (Not objecting, just watching it whoosh past over my head) Finished watching Wolf Hall last night, so that was good...

Right - washing then WORK
