jen your update is io credible, I sound like a broken records but each time it gets better and better and feels "real" I am thinking could better than the original Tony Grounds!!!!!

cherin I get the whole house/school issue, we had exactly the same with schools for the boys. You think you are sorted and then it's secondary school and then it's sixth form as in our area you have to apply for 6the form it's not an automatic stay in the same school. We could never afford to buy our house again, which makes buying near a better school impossible!

I found a little stag at hever castle! Did have a laugh around the castle, no photos allowed but plenty of KA Reign related stuff. In the room full of weapons they had all sorts of torture equipment, I joked with the room attendant and said "oh it's like 50 Shades of Lady Jane Grey" she wasn't ammused... Tweed skirt, English Heritage brigade!

Richtea19 · 01/03/2015 16:24

Little stag!

Jen I must have been in the real world not my parallel CJ world when I wrote that. Not thinking properly!

orphan · 01/03/2015 17:09

Ooh, richtea I think you've hit on an idea for a new Sunday night BBC drama series: 'Fifty Shades of Lady Jane Grey'! It would combine two types of viewer, the history buff and the pervy. I'd certainly watch.Grin

orphan · 01/03/2015 17:11

And I think cjwoof and onlygirl should be employed as smut consultants.

Ilovelblue · 01/03/2015 17:17

Does that mean they need an award? Jen is already our Smut Laureate of course..... We need some initials for it.

Nickel45 · 01/03/2015 17:19

Just reread zombies (supposed to be making kids tea ... DH just told me they were hungry ... Resisted the temptation to throw the iron i was using at the time while he was reading the paper at him!), but it's hard to take it all in first time when you're laughing so much! PTSD, moms network, jam everywhere, ooer, loving it .... SPO you are definitely spoiling us (although its raining here ... think I'd rather be somewhere sunny!)

Wycombe123 · 01/03/2015 17:19

ilove - yes although I embarrassed myself by asking a few Bailbrook staff members about OG only one had been there during the filming and all she could say was that they were very discreet. I suppose they would have used the restaurant side doors for equipment etc. Was really impressed with the hotel and lovely food. Would have been even better though if they had beamed the restaurant scene in to the Cloisters during the evening!

Richtea19 · 01/03/2015 17:48

SPOs latest is brilliant, first time I've been referenced as respectable !

cherin · 01/03/2015 18:01

Must read SPO but now kiddo is nagging at me. Maybe hungry? ;-) can't really ignore him

Schools:
Sometimes you get phone calls from charities to support creation of schools in Africa, and I think it's a deserving, noble cause. Then I think they my own kiddo in civilised London may not get any place in state school, and I wonder...and then I tell myself I should not think nasty thoughts...
Anyway, who doesn't have almost a million pound nowadays, to spend on a FLAt? Tsk tsk. Beggars.

pixieg1rl · 01/03/2015 18:15

Shitty day. I've managed to wipe everything off my phone. All my contacts just gone. I did back up but I can't remember the password for the back up. All that stands between me and normality is my brain.....

Richtea19 · 01/03/2015 18:26

pixie what a bloody nightmare. Try not to get too stressed and hopefully the password will come back to you [hug]

pixieg1rl · 01/03/2015 18:51

Phew, luckily I went through a writing all my passwords down phase. Obviously I couldn't find the notebook that all this was in (we really haven't moved into this place) but the OH had a good hunt and found it so the phone has been restored.

threadNneedle · 01/03/2015 19:21

pixie surely all your passwords are 'IloveCaptainJames'

Richtea19 · 01/03/2015 20:00

New drama, "Banished" on BB2 looks good.

Ilovelblue · 01/03/2015 20:17

Wycombe most of the staff were foreign so I didn't get the opportunity to badger the Bailbrook people about OG. The only likely candidate had been the concierge but I lost my nerve at the last minute!

Nickel45 · 01/03/2015 20:48

wycombe lucky you going to BH. Did you stay there too? How exciting :)

orphan · 01/03/2015 20:52

Any one else still watching Indian Summers? I'm sticking with it despite not really liking any of the characters. I do like the setting though and the way it's filmed. Of course I spend most of the programme picturing BA as a colonial type drinking gin slings on the verandah...

orphan · 01/03/2015 20:54

pixie if ever my password book was lost I'd be doomed.

Nickel45 · 01/03/2015 21:10

orphan I've been recording it, but not had a chance to watch it yet. Lots of good actors though? Also recorded the casual vacancy, but also not started wathing it! Anyone seen that?

Richtea19 · 01/03/2015 21:13

orphan I'm watching Indian Summers, although I record and watch later. I'm enjoying it, although I feel I can see what route it's going down. I love the scenery and has furthered my passion to visit India. I'm also watching the casual vacancy, I don't know why as not really enjoying that!

Re. Passwords, we have a "family" one so generally all is ok, but probably not so good for being hacked!

It's Sunday eve, I have a glass of wine and feel the need for our Captain. Come back to us!!!!!

Ilovelblue · 01/03/2015 21:14

Nickel I read the Casual Vacancy soon after it came out and couldn't understand what the fuss was about. There were too many characters and I kept forgetting who was who. That must have been a year or maybe two ago. I wouldn't stand a chance now - haven't read a book properly since OG and all our fantastic ff. I watched the first episode of The Casual Vacancy and found it just as complicated as the book so I've left well alone since.

Nickel45 · 01/03/2015 21:16

I don't think I stand much chance then ilove, dora the explorer confuses me some days!

Richtea19 · 01/03/2015 21:22

I have 4 books now, sitting on my bed side. We talk about "what are we going to do without wifi on our hols" but I guess that is when I start reading again! The casual vacancy even has Harry Potter music!
