I'm a lapsed fan, but watched this week.

Can anyone tell me please, what was the part with Billy and the fish about?
I couldn't even figure out where he was. It's so long since I watched before. I know he said something about not being paid properly.

afreshstartplease · 21/02/2015 15:14

Billy was stealing fish

SpanishFly · 21/02/2015 15:27

The scene on the stairs with Bobby and Cindy, it seemed that he did know what he had done?

CharityD · 21/02/2015 15:29

Thanks,
I figured he was stealing them, was it from Ian?
I genuinely hadn't a clue. Lucy walked in, and caught him, but I'm not sure, was that the end of the story.

SpanishFly · 21/02/2015 15:44

Oh, hang on - Ian told Mick that he knew who the murderer was, and that it was someone they all knew. Will Mick REALLY never mention it to him again?

Justmuddlingalong · 21/02/2015 15:46

I think it was a red 'herring' and we were meant to wonder if Billy had 'battered' Lucy...sorry it's been a looong week. Grin

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 21/02/2015 15:47

(I didn't watch the Good Friday episodes, IIRC , I restarted watching at the Phil/Sharon wedding ) so I've missed loads.

But the scene between Billy/Lucy outside the chippie - was he hitting on her? (bleurgh)

Did Ian only realise it was Bobby when the timeframe didn't add up? (From Emma talking to Jane but not calling it in)

And as an actor, Adam is superb at the emotional scenes, he is full on grief and snot.

(When was Ian with Mandy? As in long haired used to go about with football trainee Aiden mandy .
The caff was called "Mandys" for a while, were they married? )

Jasonandyawegunorts · 21/02/2015 16:08

he scene on the stairs with Bobby and Cindy, it seemed that he did know what he had done?

I would assume he did...

Most 11 year olds, if they smashed their sisters head in with a box, couldn't wake her, then she turned up dead the next day, after their mumk saying they would sort things out, would put two and two together..

but then it's not real life...

jkdnanny · 21/02/2015 16:13

Jane is now stuck with Ian for life. She has to forgive everything he does due to what shes done.

I think it would have been believable for ian to stay with jane if it hadn't been for the fact she had put her body in the boot, dumped on the common and then sat and watched everything fall apart without saying anything. On a human level it would be believable that she would want to cover for bobby and you can understand ian understanding that(though not immediately as the case was it would take a while) but the rest is downright evil. It would have been better if either jane had openly taken the blame from the beginning or she did what another poster did and claimed she walked in and found lucy like that.

CharityD · 21/02/2015 16:14

I wondered then was he hinting at something between them, in the past, when he was asking her not to say anything about seeing him stealing.

Optimist1 · 21/02/2015 16:19

All of that made my head hurt, and I'm amazed that so many people in Albert Square are willing to cover up murders (I counted 12 who were supposed to keep Nick's death secret - there may have been more)! Which has got me thinking ... how many killers are currently living in the square? We have ...

Stacey (Archie Mitchell)
Ronnie (whatsisface who was threatening Roxy)
Dot (Ethel and Nick - although I concede these are probably not "murders")
Bobby
Phil? Anyone else? It feels as though the place is crawling with killers!

SoupDragon · 21/02/2015 16:19

She couldn't call an ambulance as then, to her mind, Bobby would know that he had killed Lucy. If we are to believe her primary concern was to protect Bobby, she couldn't pretend it was an accident in the house. I don't believe she was ever on her way to the hospital as that doesn't make sense when you consider Bobby and the fact she had put her in the boot. And why didn't she lie about the boot FFS?!!

In her defence, she didn't just dump Lucy, she did say she had stayed and then kissed her goodbye. Although how long was she away from Masood?

Mrsjayy · 21/02/2015 16:23

Bobby is 11 I know is 11 is still a young child but they way jane was going on he was 4 and didn't wouldn't know what he did

SpanishFly · 21/02/2015 16:25

Also, is Bobby the tiniest 12 year old ever (in RL he is 12)?

shitebag · 21/02/2015 16:30

For some reason only Jane seemed to know it was Bobby, on the live special Ian said he thought it was him until he saw the script the day before, Peter also thought it was Ian, Lucy thought it was Peter and they only found out on the morning of the reveal then poor Bobby only found out 30 minutes before the show started.

I find it amazing if they did last nights at a days rehearsal!

There's definitely a lot of blanks to be filled in, hopefully they won't be left unanswered.

I want to know what Billy meant when he grabbed Lucy and told her not to tell "because he thought they were... You know", you know what?

Why was Lucy in the boot on the way to A&E?

What drove Ian back to prostitutes?

Why were Ben and Lucy going to Miami and why did Ben come back in the end?

Why did Bobby give the music box to Beth?

What happened to the purse/phone that Jane put under the floorboards, did she move them or will they be the give away?

Jasonandyawegunorts · 21/02/2015 16:34

They were lying.

shitebag · 21/02/2015 16:38

Were they?! Shock

shitebag · 21/02/2015 16:39

Not that it matters as they were amazing anyway but I thought they were being genuine about it.

SoupDragon · 21/02/2015 16:40

I thought Peter said he found out at Christmas.

Jasonandyawegunorts · 21/02/2015 16:42

Were they?!

Yeah, they must have been. The next 4 weeks of stuff is already filmed.

shitebag · 21/02/2015 16:43

Maybe I misheard lol

Pyjamaramadrama · 21/02/2015 16:43

I think Billy was getting ideas that Lucy had feelings for him and had developed a bit of a crush/obsession with her. Hence the photos. They'd become friends through working for Janine and he was obviously getting ideas.

The only person I feel sorry for is Peter. Ian is a weasel so desperate to keep a woman he do anything and Jane is unstable.

Lucy was actually quite a good sister to Bobby, she looked after him when Ian had his breakdown.

My dp is step parent to my older ds, it's like my lo killing ds and dp dumping the body, then me saying never mind. It's sick.

EE is getting really far fetched bringing so many back from the dead, I've wondered whether that Carl who Ronnie killed is really dead.

Jasonandyawegunorts · 21/02/2015 16:44

Were they?!

Nah, they were saying it before the shows aired to hype things up, but it isn't true.

shitebag · 21/02/2015 16:49

Jason are you just nit-picking at my comments?

Once would've been plenty... Hmm

GallicIsCharlie · 21/02/2015 16:49

Well, that was emosh :)

I want to know when Biancaaah will be back! I miss her and her unlikely outfits.

Do you think Tiff and Denny have fused together after being so long in the Child Cupboard together?
