Jason are you just nit-picking at my comments?

No

Once would've been plenty...

It was a reply to "Maybe I misheard lol" but i obviously didn't "copy" so your previous thing pasted.

Doesn't even sound like a nitpick.

shitebag · 21/02/2015 16:55

It was afterwards on the live special I heard them say that not before.

Either way, doesn't matter.

AliceinWinterWonderland · 21/02/2015 17:05

Yeah, they'll have to deal with that slip up to Mick from Ian. He'll probably just say he was wrong. Hmm

I noticed in the live episode Friday that Ian referred to Bobby as a 10 year old boy, and then later Jane said Bobby was 11 when she was talking about him. Grin At that rate, he'll be 20 by next week!

youarekiddingme · 21/02/2015 17:10

They all said they didn't know. But Jane found out in November, Peter in December, bobbys Rl dad a few days before, Bobby the day before, lucy 7 hours before it aired! Ian - hasn't said. Lauren I expect when Peter did because theyve filmed the scenes. M&S said on GMB he found out the day before - on the reveal day!
But DTC said some had to know because of scripting and practice and filming future scenes but most cast and crew who had no direct link or lines re Bobby murder had no idea until the day!

youarekiddingme · 21/02/2015 17:11

Alice I think he was referring to Peter being 10 when he knocked his sister off!

youarekiddingme · 21/02/2015 17:12

Or rather Bobby!

AliceinWinterWonderland · 21/02/2015 17:13

I wasn't sure.. it just sounded odd.. I was trying to think how old the boy was, then he said 10... then a few minutes later Jane says 11... my brain was going "wait..." Grin Too much info in one 30 minute time slot!!

Jasonandyawegunorts · 21/02/2015 17:20

But DTC said some had to know because of scripting and practice and filming future scenes but most cast and crew who had no direct link or lines re Bobby murder had no idea until the day!

I would assume Jake Wood and Diane Parish would have known a few months ago too, that would include the majority of the "live actors" which makes sense.

SymphonyofShadows · 21/02/2015 17:22

I don't think Jane put Lucy in the boot, I think she laid her on the back seat. That's how I understood it anyway.

I don't understand why they showed Lucy getting so many hits to the head, or implied hits, if it's not going to come out later.

Southeastdweller · 21/02/2015 17:25

I suspect that Kathy may well put an end to the happily ever after Jane seems to think she's going to get.

Can't wait for her to return and set the cat among the pigeons. I really hope they're working on a damn good reason for her to come back from 'the dead' as it would be ridiculous for Kathy not to visit her family in nine years without it being something huge.

Then again it is a soap...

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 21/02/2015 17:27

Could Lucy have been alive when taken in the boot to the common - so could Jane really have killed her....

AliceinWinterWonderland · 21/02/2015 17:27

She did say she was in the boot, because Peter went off about it.

Figster · 21/02/2015 17:53

He was 10 when it happened has had a bday and turned 11 since (that's what I took it to mean anyway)

LoveVintage · 21/02/2015 18:05

She definitely put her in the boot, that was the thing Ian and Peter seemed most upset at when Jane was telling them. But that doesn't tie in with Jane saying she was taking her to hospital though they didn't seem to pick up on that, which isn't realistic really.

Do we believe that Jane took her by herself, or was someone else involved?

youarekiddingme · 21/02/2015 18:09

FWiW I don't think Jason is being arsey and not picking - his/her posting style is always copy and paste and reply. Usually works well ime!

MagpieCursedTea · 21/02/2015 18:09

As others have said, I think Max was involved in the removal of Lucy's body.

GallicIsCharlie · 21/02/2015 18:11

Jane's a large & capable woman, while Lucy was a waif. She could easily have carried her. But I think the story's going to show she had help.

shitebag · 21/02/2015 18:24

I didn't say Jason was being arsey. I just asked why they were nitpicking at the same comment when once would've done, but that's been explained now so I'm not really sure where the arsey bit comes from Confused

I think Max was involved too but I can't figure out why Jane would cover for him and she would've had to lie to him about what happened for him to assume that Abi did it? Probably just a big plothole that will be forever forgotten.

youarekiddingme · 21/02/2015 18:32

Sorry that was me adding arsey - no idea why and I shouldn't have - apologies.

youarekiddingme · 21/02/2015 18:35

I also thought Max was involved. I assumed he'd come through back door seen Jane and Lucy, Bobby was upstairs, assumed Abi had killed her because of Abi's comment and helped Jane.
But I think that came more from the scenes where he confronted Abi, and my sick idea that loads of people we're involvd because we were told so many people's lives changed. However it's become clear they changed, but just not all related to lucy iyswim?

CharityD · 21/02/2015 18:38

Yes, definitely in the boot, she tried it say 'back', but they picked her up on it, that it was in the boot, and Ian disappeared, at that point, to throw up.

It makes a nonsense of her saying she was going to bring her to the hospital. I imagine it would cause consternation, at a hospital, if someone produced a body out of the boot of their car, rather than the back seat. Grin
I'm not sure someone could live with knowing they did what Jane did, albeit it was to protect the child...

It was a great episode, I thought all of the actors played a blinder, in the Beale household.

SymphonyofShadows · 21/02/2015 18:40

Ah, I missed that bit about the boot. Doesn't she have a really small car though?

RedKilledLucyBeale · 21/02/2015 18:43

Yeah, she was definitely in the boot. I'm struggling to believe she could carry Lucy like a child. I haven't been able to carry my DCs around since they were about 9 and they're skinny things.

shitebag · 21/02/2015 19:14

I know Lucy was a pain in the arse but I did think it was particularly cold of Jane to have dumped her in the common when earlier on she had been telling her that she was their Mum.

We couldn't put our dog in the ground outside in the garden after she died let alone my child! The dogs ashes live in her favourite room now though and comes to my house when my mums on holiday as she didn't like being alone so perhaps I'm a bit too sentimental about these things :o

ByeByeButterfly · 21/02/2015 19:31

I thought all the Beale's did an amazing job acting last night.

I find Danny Dyer intriguing - I can't decide whether I think he's excellent or whether he's a complete idiot but will find out some time, I'm sure.

re: Adam's crying it's quite easy to force yourself to cry at will or at least I find it is (would be a great manipulator, just too caring for it) but you do need to think of some pretty miserable stuff to muster it up.

I think Kellie Bright is really good and has done really well on the Dean storyline / live episode / CIN episode so fair play to her - she's one of the few characters I was wrong on the first impression about i.e. she's not cold and hateful, she's quite the opposite. She's got so many dimensions and you can't say that about a lot of characters except those who act like they have severe mental illnesses/are conmen.

Looking forward to the aftermath next week.

Will be sad to see Edward Cullen go but it leaves a lot of possibilities for if he wants to come back in the future! :)

Kush is very nice to look at. Also strangely find Fatboy attractive I am under 30 so tis all ok.

Anyone have any ideas on what will happen next?
