As someone else said, the last one was a wasted opportunity.

I would like to give tickets to:

Simon
Chesney & girlfriend
Faye
All the Windasses
Tracey-Luv
Michelle
Sawphie
Owen
Kal and all his family

Plenty more seats available, feel free to add some more passengers!

So far fetched that Chesney would go from 'over my dead body' to 'yes you MUST take Joseph to live in Portugal' in the space of two episodes!

So true. He is such a rubbish actor too, that I felt no emotion about the fact that he wouldn't see the child grow up.

Stuart Blackburn will kill Corrie, I am convinced. It's never been worse, IMO.

eddiemairswife · 17/03/2015 23:31

There seems to be no thought as to how stories will progress. Various characters appear and disappear in the twinkling of an eye -- the real Gavin, Owen's ex-wife, that poor abandoned mite Lily. I've read somewhere that Faye plans to give birth in the empty flat above Dev's shop.

CharityD · 17/03/2015 23:53

Kal is leaving, let's hope the rest of the family miss him so much, they go too. Completely empty, useless characters, who add nothing to the Street.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 18/03/2015 10:00

Chickens story was a bit surreal. Did the allotment get allocated in the end or is that another strand leading nowhere hopefully.

They really have backed themselves into a cornef with Andy. Doesn't he have a real family? Surely he must have had a job or benefits or something going on before the Gavin saga, people would be asking questions.

CharityD · 18/03/2015 10:07

I agree re Andy. Plus the real Gavin evidently lived quite near, what are the chances that somebody, somewhere won't come along who knew both of the guys!
I know that did happen, with the florist, which was how Steph found out. It's a silly, silly storyline.
I think Sharif and Roy end up sharing the allotment. And Simon and Zeedan get involved. Yawn.

Southeastdweller · 18/03/2015 10:22

I don't get why Andy carried on lying for so long. Just not to hurt the feelings of his ex-flat mates father, who he never knew from Adam? Hmm

thenewbrunette · 18/03/2015 10:48

I think he supposedly had yo keep up the lies cos he ended up getting quite attached to Les and is frightened of giving him s heart attack with shock if he finds out the truth.

I also have wondered about Andy's real parents, friends, family etc who seem non existent.

thenewbrunette · 18/03/2015 10:51

The idea of a 13 year old giving birth alone above a shop is just too grim to contemplate. I thought maybe Gary may get wind of what was going on and support Faye in some way as he was being quite kind to her the other night. What a nasty storyline.

Candycandle · 18/03/2015 11:01

I recall reading a spoiler that says that Sophie Webster helps. I for one am not looking forward to seeing this play out.

theliverpoolone · 18/03/2015 15:16

Hard to believe that Faye would still be fitting into her schoolclothes- I wasn't massive when I was pregnant, but I was definitely in maternity gear at 8 months! She always has her coat over her uniform now, but at school she would be made to take it off Hmm

CharityD · 18/03/2015 16:58

I wish someone would notice at this stage, and move that story on. It's hard to believe that nobody notices anything about her. One would imagine the GP would have mentioned periods when she saw her that time.

Camolips · 18/03/2015 19:34

Am I imagining things or is there a voice over? Shock

thenightsky · 18/03/2015 22:08

Camolip There was no voice over.

I get that sometimes when I accidentally press something on the controls that changes the settings.

Go into Settings, then Accessibility, then make sure Audio Description is 'off'.

Camolips · 18/03/2015 22:48

It was so spooky! I never realised there was such a setting, presumably for people with impaired vision. I'll get dd3 on it, I'm not very good with technology. Thanks.

CharityD · 18/03/2015 23:08

I watched part one tonight. The chickens were the most exciting Hmm characters featured...
I didn't bother watching the second half.

HirplesWithHaggis · 18/03/2015 23:55

Ah, you should have. Apparently mediation (between Callum and David, re access to Max) resembles family counselling. Confused Hmm No actual proposals put forward, and further session(s) planned.

millimat · 19/03/2015 06:58

What else had that mediation woman been in? Is it a childrens programme?

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 19/03/2015 07:33

Didn't recognise her. Didn't like Gail palling up with Callum's mum. Much as I don't like David, the sooner they get rid of Callum the better, he really gives me the creeps.

ProfYaffle · 19/03/2015 08:16

She's Bev Hills, I remember her from Brookside, she was also in Bear Behaving Badly.

eddiemairswife · 19/03/2015 10:47

Callum will be even more of an irritant to Gail and David when Sarah-Louise arrives.

thenewbrunette · 19/03/2015 13:04

Ahh yes, when is Sarah Lou and her daughter who looks exactly the same age as her due to arrive? And where the hell are they going to live?

eddiemairswife · 19/03/2015 13:23

I think Bethany arrives next week.

CharityD · 19/03/2015 13:39

Yes, I think Bethany arrives tomorrow, and Sarah Lou next week.
And will they all live in the elastic house Grin which expands at will, to fit, so far, David, the two children, Gail, Michael, and in the past, Kylie and Nick too...

Clawdy · 19/03/2015 16:22

Callum's too-nice mum used to be a nurse in Casualty a few years ago.

millimat · 19/03/2015 21:51

Don't remember the mediation woman from brookie, but that link showed she was in tikkabilla. I remember that now. Thanks!
