As someone else said, the last one was a wasted opportunity.

I would like to give tickets to:

Simon
Chesney & girlfriend
Faye
All the Windasses
Tracey-Luv
Michelle
Sawphie
Owen
Kal and all his family

Plenty more seats available, feel free to add some more passengers!

Thanks misty

woodhill · 15/03/2015 11:42

yes i said exactly the same thing about her earlier in the thread 'Eau Joaue' repeated endlessly.

JoanHicksonMIfive · 15/03/2015 11:48

Izzy hasn't got a broken spine, she can walk. She has pain, fatigue and dislocated/sublaxed joints.

FairVerona · 15/03/2015 22:33

Linda, owens ex wife was also in Scottish soap River City as"lydia", wife of gangster Lenny Murdoch. Same voice!

zukiecat · 15/03/2015 23:17

Her Scottish accent in River City wasn't very good FairVerona, she tried to be Scottish in The Wicker Tree as well, but failed.

CharityD · 16/03/2015 22:03

Only watched one episode tonight. Corrie is at an all time low. Very weak and boring characters, Katie, Chesney, Sinead, Sean, Michael, Kal, Simon, Nick, Zeedan, Sharif...

zukiecat · 16/03/2015 22:10

I like Sinead and Chesney, however all the Gavin stuff is boring now, I don't mind Gavin/Andy but I can't stand Steph.

Southeastdweller · 16/03/2015 22:16

The only thing I liked about tonights episodes is Callum and I don't think we're supposed to like him, are we?

Looking forward to Mark Monaghan appearing soon as Eileen's new boyfriend.

Camolips · 16/03/2015 23:03

The changed NI number stunt isn't going to end well Shock
But it was quite funny when Nick took the blame for cocking up Gail's hours Grin The scriptwriters must have been reading this thread about the complete absence of any reference to Nick's head injury and remedied it neatly.

Autumndays14 · 16/03/2015 23:55

How has corrie got so bad? I can't seem to work it out! I hated all the peter stuff but in hindsight maybe it made good watching. The barlows were the best family and the rob/Deirdre/Tracey set up was fun.

CharityD · 17/03/2015 00:21

I think it is at an all time low. Sad

Lily is David and Kylie's baby. I could never ever leave my kids no matter what and not only did Linda leave hers but Kylie did too, like its that easy! I'm the main carer for my children, my dh would be screwed if I just upped and left.

Iwantacampervan · 17/03/2015 07:15

I was watching an old episode of Silent Witness, from 2005, and there was Tony as a policeman/detective. The only difference in him was the fact that he was wearing glasses and a suit.
He ended up arresting a moonlighting David Archer.

Lily is David and Kylie's daughter - she has spent most of her time upstairs since she was born (along with all the other children in the street). She will emerge in a few years time as a troubled teenager.
Maria's son now goes to school - and can be picked up by anyone.

cleanmachine · 17/03/2015 07:34

Oh dear god. It's painful to watch these days. Sick of faye, ches, sinead, andy les nick steph maria..... arghhhhhh!

The faye story is booking my piss. She can't act and the story is rubbish, I couldn't care less about faye.

The guy in charge had really ruined corrie for me since he started. It could not get any more pointless for the majority of the current plots.

If it wasn't for callum I'd be taking a loooong corrie break.

ProfYaffle · 17/03/2015 08:21

I'm a lifelong Corrie fan but it is quite dull at the moment. My dc usually watch with me but they wander off after 10 mins these days.

eddiemairswife · 17/03/2015 11:48

Last night's episode was dire. Not one of the strands held any interest for me at all. I even laughed at Chesney's tears.

thenewbrunette · 17/03/2015 13:26

I thought a storyline about changing someone's NI number for HMRC was surely a new low in duller than dull story lines..especially as it seemed to drag on for a whole two returnss.

However, I actually did feel a smidgeon of sympathy for Chesney at losing his son, especially as it's not likely he will actually see him again for about 15 years when he returns with new head as screwed up troublesome teen to have an affair with Lily/Faye's daughter

thenewbrunette · 17/03/2015 13:34

Returns=episodes - sorry!

CharityD · 17/03/2015 14:54

Same here, it was an endurance test last night.

TheArchchancellorsHat · 17/03/2015 18:38

It is fairly crap at the mo. The actress playing Faye does not have the acting chops for a storyline like this (she is apparently related to the actress who plays Sophie, I suspect a bit of nepotism Hmm )

theliverpoolone · 17/03/2015 19:27

So far fetched that Chesney would go from 'over my dead body' to 'yes you MUST take Joseph to live in Portugal' in the space of two episodes! It would have been far more in keeping with the characters for Katie to have left Joseph behind without a backward glance, as she spends all her free time socialising without him.

Sometimes Maria remembers she has to collect her son from wherever he spends his days (school? childminder?), and ropes in any passing resident to get him for her.

EachandEveryone · 17/03/2015 22:42

I was expecting Katie to do what her mother did as well. I was shocked when she said she was taking him.
