As someone else said, the last one was a wasted opportunity.

I would like to give tickets to:

Simon
Chesney & girlfriend
Faye
All the Windasses
Tracey-Luv
Michelle
Sawphie
Owen
Kal and all his family

Plenty more seats available, feel free to add some more passengers!

I thought she was a doctor in casualty, she also did some christmas adds for sainsbury I think, don't think she was Bev in Brookie.

I just remembered when Bev married Ron, they came home from their honeymoon and called the house "CasaBevRon" Grin

Just shows how boring Corrie is when we are talking about Brookie!!!

Thrilled to hear Kal is going, pointless altogether, as is all his family, and what happened to the great love affair with his daughter and Gary, they haven't been seen together in a long time.

desperatehousewife21 · 20/03/2015 06:18

Why does Kal leave? He's just agreed to move in with Leanne so I'm guessing that doesn't happen?

ClaudiaNaughton · 20/03/2015 07:55

Maybe Kal leaves with Leanne and Simon. -Oh please-

thenewbrunette · 20/03/2015 08:28

I think Kal could potentially have been a good character if his relationship with Leanne and friendships with Nick/ Dev/ Gary had been developed a bit more as Jimi Mistry ix generally a good actor. I just think they shouldn't have bothered bringing his family in.

CharityD · 20/03/2015 08:45

It's being bigged up, by Blackburn and co, as 'an explosive storyline' or some such nonsense, which nowadays in Corrie probably means he lets the chickens escape or something.
Sinead will probably appear on the street, as the chickens are running about, and miraculously step from her chair, catch them, and they will live happily ever after.

He really was given no decent storylines, IMO, so maybe he is just getting out before getting stuck for life, with the rest of his boring, annoying family.

I think I've never seen Corrie at such a low.

thenewbrunette · 20/03/2015 08:51

I agree Charity If he really does get an explosive storyline it will be the only one he's had.

woodhill · 20/03/2015 09:00

yes I thought she had been Mick's wife in Brookside

ProfYaffle · 20/03/2015 09:16

The actresses' name is Bev, she didn't play Bev in Brookside.

eddiemairswife · 20/03/2015 10:57

I wonder if Kal's leaving will cause it all to kick off between Leanne and Simon.

CharityD · 20/03/2015 13:32

I hate the idea of that storyline about Leanne and Simon, and I can't see Leanne taking any nonsense, tbh.

juliej75 · 20/03/2015 14:53

The Chesney/Joseph storyline enrages me like no other. Would anyone actually think their son was better off without a loving father close-by just for the benefit of a bit of sunshine and a pool?

I fear it gives credence to other single parents who think their right to a 'better life' a distance away trumps the importance to a child of having both parents involved in their lives.

eddiemairswife · 20/03/2015 15:11

But for a child in Corrie with multiple parents and ex-parents, and frequent moves between houses and flats, sunshine and a pool might more than make up for an absent father.

Clawdy · 20/03/2015 16:32

Callum's mum was a doctor in Casualty, not a nurse, got that wrong. She was called Maggie. She looks too nice to be Callum's mum!

thenewbrunette · 20/03/2015 17:56

I wondered if Kal may leave as a result of problems with Leanne and Simon. Maybe he intervenes and Leanne chooses Si over him. Who knows really.

cleanmachine · 20/03/2015 17:59

Callum is delicious.

Am glad Katy is gone. She served purpose. I wish izzy would go. It's remarkable that she never seems to have to get home for have or have him around.

Ches Tyrone fizz sinead really need to bugger off. Beth kirk and Craig are much better and can act.

The worst acting ever has to go to nick handy les and steph. Never before had there bbeen a more unlikeable set of characters and bottom of the barrel storyline.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 20/03/2015 18:21

Delicious? I think he's vile, deeply, deeply unattractive.

millimat · 20/03/2015 19:41

OMG so that's Bethany?!

thenewbrunette · 20/03/2015 20:01

I actually think Bethany is well cast as reminds me a lot of Sarah Lou. Although surely she would have said Grazie with an Italian accent not northern one considering she's lived there so long.

Broken chair storyline totally farcical!

I agree there is some bad acting but I will defend Nick, have always liked him as a character!

Southeastdweller · 20/03/2015 20:03

I hope this isn't the start of the horrible Andrea and boring Michael being another 'hilarious' comedy couple.

The Bethany actress is too old for the part.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 20/03/2015 20:06

Bethany looks old enough to be Sarah-Lou's mum.

OP posts:
thenightsky · 20/03/2015 20:06

Oh feck... I was mumsnetting and lost all the episode. That blonde was Bethany? She looked too old.

thenightsky · 20/03/2015 20:07

ahahha cross post with anne

millimat · 20/03/2015 20:10

The actress is 19. I agree she's actually very like Sarah Lou but agree that there would be some Italian accent, she's been there long enough!

thenewbrunette · 20/03/2015 20:11

At least she's younger than the one they had to sack for being 45 or whatever Wink

CharityD · 20/03/2015 20:28

I hope this isn't the start of the horrible Andrea and boring Michael being another 'hilarious' comedy couple.

+1.
They are not in the slightest bit entertaining, either of them. I hate those little supposedly funny 'sketches', can't think of a better word.
Him offering her the biscuit and her accepting it, after the 'hilarious' chair break... About as funny as banging my head off the nearest wall.
