Bit risqué!! Definitely not one to watch when the kids might wander into the lounge...

And definitely a Russell T Davies series - Queer as Folk's little brother

Is it Thursday yet?

MuddhaOfSuburbia · 04/03/2015 11:06

Poor Henry Sad

no more dicking around in supermarkets for HIM for a while

...this must be the role of a lifetime for that actor -up till now he's always been Trainer Guy Out Of The Office

Southeastdweller · 05/03/2015 19:32

Signing in for later. Looking forward to discussion!

cookielove · 05/03/2015 20:33

Glad to have found this thread, poor poor Lance I was so shocked watching that scene. Even though we had the dates at the beginning it still came as an awfuk shock. It is definitely one of those scenes that will replay over and over in my mind. No one I know a watches it :(

HelenaDove · 05/03/2015 22:45

Amazing scene in the car in this weeks episode

Southeastdweller · 05/03/2015 22:51

The sister was such a bitch tonight.

madamginger · 05/03/2015 22:53

Did anyone see Nathan from queer as folk in the house at the end?

HelenaDove · 05/03/2015 22:59

Madam NO WAY? Smile

HelenaDove · 05/03/2015 23:00

YY southeast

LidlMermaid · 05/03/2015 23:01

I loved tonight's episode. I agree about the car scene. Just brilliant. how well written and acted is this show? It deserves much more recognition than its getting.

madamginger · 05/03/2015 23:03

He was dancing with Frankie helena

OneDayWhenIGrowUp · 05/03/2015 23:54

Was he?? Damn need to rewatch that. He must look different now, he was so young in QAF!

Brilliant episode tonight. I cried, I laughed. Cried quite a bit, actually

HelenaDove · 06/03/2015 00:53

Thanks madam. If this show doesnt win a National TV Award or a TV Bafta it will be a travesty.

Beaverfeaver2 · 06/03/2015 01:47

Watched today.
I can't sleep

I'm never usually affected by tv shows like this.

Just wow!

BestIsWest · 06/03/2015 06:11

I still don't like Henry. DH feels sorry for him but I must be missing something.

ProfYaffle · 06/03/2015 06:48

Yy to the car scene - just amazing.

I like Henry, he's flawed, massively flawed but aren't we all?

It felt like a finale tonight, can't imagine where it'll go next week.

ChoochiWhoo · 06/03/2015 12:02

The bit where he broke down in the car was really powerful i started nervous laughing i was that uncomfortable which is a signs it powerful to me! Yy profaffle the end did seem like a finale , next week seems another tense one.

ElizaPickford · 06/03/2015 13:07

Oh I totally bawled right through the car scene. I hope that horrible sister doesn't take over the whole of the last episode with her money grabbing ways. Sad

cookielove · 06/03/2015 14:56

The car scene I cried!

The sister is actually being a thief if Lance wanted her to have the money he would have given it to her when he was alive. Give the money to Henry!

QueQuesto · 06/03/2015 15:12

Yeah the sister is a total cowbag. Hope Henry gets to keep the house and his new pals as lodgers.

ProfYaffle · 06/03/2015 16:23

Does anyone watch Banana? What do you think of it?

QueQuesto · 06/03/2015 17:13

I've seen some Banana but not all of them. I liked Helen's story and the one about Scotty.

MuddhaOfSuburbia · 06/03/2015 17:27

that was brilliant

I especially loved the car. And Cliff, with his pen

this is the best telly I've seen since... since... we-ell, Queer As Folk, probably

no wonder RTD isn't all that prolific*. Every line sounds like it's been polished. It must take him forever

(actually after a quick wiki I take that back. He's done HODS of stuff. And I'd forgotten he did The Second Coming- gob open telly that was)

ProfYaffle · 06/03/2015 18:12

I love Cliff, another great character. Pity the young black flat mate (can't remember his name) hasn't been developed a bit more, I don't feel like we know him.

We've watched all of Banana. It's good but Cucumber's obviously the main event. I quite liked how this week's explored the theme of attraction following on from Freddy and Henry.

Southeastdweller · 06/03/2015 18:44

After watching this series, I'm making a promise to myself to never, ever get a joint account with anyone!
