I finished my Dry January yesterday and feel very proud of myself.

I also booked a corking holiday yesterday. I love going to Dorset, Glamping. But I have been dying for some sun for a long time now.

So, Ibiza, a week, end of May , all inclusive. £1300. Managers special, reduced by £800. That is cheap, for any holiday. It won't be 5 star, not the ritz, but reviews are good, - they have 3 pools and cocktails!! - Dh and I have fun in a phone box and always make the most of it. I think it will be fine.

I feel really pleased right now.

Next day, On the Thursday, Dh flies to Madrid for a 4 day stag weekend.

Plus we were supposed to be going to Dorset for that whole week, Dh said last night, we could still go to Dorset for the first 4 days,
at first I thought we couldn't, but maybe we just could ???!!!! Is that silly mad? Come home from 4 days camping, wash and pack for a week in Ibiza, then come home and get dh's stuff washed for his 4 days in Madrid.

Very nice hotel, centre of city, that some of them have stayed in before - £140 for 4 nights.

Chaise that sounds like a lovely holiday. We haven't been abroad for six years, since we've had the caravan, but I would like to have a holiday with guaranteed sunshine.

Fancy I've almost replaced the worst of the smelly teenager with the 'running out all the fucking hot water' teenagers. To the point we actually had a larger capacity HW tank to cope with the amount of showers etc. However, brilliantly they have a gym at school which they now go to most days after school which has amazingly nice showers etc so they shower there. Marvellous. Big win for me. And we've saved money compared to the junior memberships they had at Dh's gym.

That said, the twins still share a room and the first thing I do whenever I go in is open all the windows whatever the weather.

Evening. Am of all of you with holidays sorted, especially bargainous ones in sunshine. We are meant to be going away in Feb for mid term break but have nothing booked yet. Need to get my finger out. We do have a cottage booked for Easter (the one near Trev's place, will need to see if she is up there for wench meetup / titbump) but then nothing for summer yet either. DH is talking France, but I'm with LetUs and would rather do Scottish Islands. Beaches are amazing and there is hardly any other fuckers about. Perfect. Either that or I quite fancy Wales cos of the castles is tragic.
