Speighty my suggestion to your last observation is that we mount a hostile takeover for that agency and get him some decent roles that show off his best assets!

I know he's tall but I think she must be particularly small?

WHAJEB1 · 30/01/2015 13:53

Ah richtea might gonna have to warn you it didn't quite go down too well with some people cough oga cough but from now on it will all be downhill!!!

Can I just say though that are lots of lovely people on there, I had to break cover!!!

Nickel45 · 30/01/2015 13:58

Why didn't it go down too well? It's a brilliant story, and I'm guessing you are following the original? Im loving it!! Did klipdoctor comment? Wink

orphan · 30/01/2015 14:06

Thanks for the clip nickel. I like the end bit where he gets all intense. As for the pic, I've got a feeling that's about where I'd come to on BA. Nestling in ....Grin

WHAJEB1 · 30/01/2015 14:07

Yes he did !!! Blush

Think people just getting fed up of the angst Hmm can't blame them really but it's difficult to get the major plot lines in from the book and try and keep some character!! Hopefully not to far from the book though I'm sure jane Austen would disagree!!!

WHAJEB1 · 30/01/2015 14:14

I have to say if I ever did see him in real life I would surreptitiously stand as close as possible (who wouldn't) to see where I would come height wise rephrased that twice now and still sounds rude maybe we could all leave a marker like a height chart!

FWK351 · 30/01/2015 14:14

Ilovelblue you took the words right out of my mouth - I think she must be pretty short.

orphan · 30/01/2015 14:18

I always get a shock when I glimpse myself next to a normal height person in a mirror or window reflection and realise just how short I am. 5ft by the way. The woman in the pic might be shorter.

mummyreeds · 30/01/2015 14:21

Just popped on to say, WHAJEB1 I am loving your ff! May even have to go and reread Persuasion! Next chapter/s soon please? No pressure!

orphan · 30/01/2015 14:21

Great idea whajeb - height marker! Does the one nearest to the Bulge get a prize?Wink

WHAJEB1 · 30/01/2015 14:27

orphan if they've got a sticker next to the bulge then I think they've already had the prize!!!

Thank you mummyreeds think I'm going to get a bottle of wine and watch the one with RPJ, I'm getting quite lazy!!

Ilovelblue · 30/01/2015 14:34

I had my photo taken quite recently standing between three of my colleagues, including the gorgeously handsome 6'5" one and even with small heels on, I didn't even come up to his shoulders. The other two were 6' and 6'"2. I looked like a little fat pig between them all.

I like the idea of height markers. Another gimmick for our sales and design team do you think?

Richtea19 · 30/01/2015 14:38

Good job I'm shrinking with age, if it's going to be nearest the bulge Grin

orphan · 30/01/2015 14:45

whajeb really love the clever way you've woven the original plot into your story. Looking forward to the next chapter...Smile

orphan · 30/01/2015 14:51

whajeb You made me want to reread the original but of course I can't find my copy now!

Are you going to rewrite any other classics with CJ and Molly? I'd love a Pride and Prejudice one.

Richtea19 · 30/01/2015 14:57

whajeb I knew I couldn't wait to read it! Just brilliant. I love the way they are taking time getting together, very cleverly written. I haven't read the book, but seen the film! If I had time I would get a copy and read it, but at this rate there aren't enought hours in the day. But well done I love your writing.

Speighty33 · 30/01/2015 15:14

ilove" sounds like a very good idea. I'm sure most people on here could do better! Whajeb* - I love the angst and build up, keep up the good work!

Speighty33 · 30/01/2015 15:19

icemist completely missed that pic earlier. Wow, she must be tiny, Lacey Turner is only about 5.2 isn't she and she came to just above his shoulder didn't she. He looks good though

cjwoofwoof · 30/01/2015 16:34

Well done WAJEB excellently done as usual. Can I suggest a rewrite of Lady Chatterleys Lover where CJ can play...um...ooh I can't think which part he'd be good as...um...its a tricky one...

orphan · 30/01/2015 16:34

Didn't realise Klipdoctor had posted the epilogue. He's really gone for the tear jerker! For me, a jarring note was in CJ's letter to Molly when he says he's 'come from the middle class'. Don't know, but I don't think he'd write or phrase it like that. I'd better not leave any criticism though!

orphan · 30/01/2015 16:37

cjwoof good idea and can I volunteer to adorn the Bulge with violets or whatever they were (that's as much as I can remember of the book) for research purposes?

cjwoofwoof · 30/01/2015 16:51

Thinking we might gonna need at least ball chrysanthemums to achieve coverage orphan

Speighty33 · 30/01/2015 17:00

Blimey Klipdoctor's epilogue was a tad emotional. Admitted, it doesn't take much for me to start blubbing - but I was expecting that!

Speighty33 · 30/01/2015 17:03

wasn't expecting that!

orphan · 30/01/2015 17:05

Ah but cjwoof I'm not aiming for concealment, merely decoration. As in cooking, you don't want the garnish to overwhelm the main event! Wink
