Welcome kezia. Just goes to show CJ is a man for all women, no matter the size of iceberg (secretly still hoping he's a larger iceberg fan) or age.

KeziaOAP · 03/02/2015 18:01

icemist too true Wink

Onlygirljen · 03/02/2015 18:06

Welcome kezia! Smile

orphan · 03/02/2015 18:07

nickel my gran used to keep Magic Roundabout pillow cases to put on my bed when I stayed over cos I couldn't sleep without them!

Nickel45 · 03/02/2015 18:08

Welcome to the madness kezia. How have you held out for joining in for so long!?!

Mind you, I say 'madness', have to say this feels pretty normal now, and sometimes it the RL part of my life that doesn't seem quite right as I sneak upstairs to check in on here while the kids eat their dinner in front of the TV ... No one from social services on here I hope!!

orphan CJ for me, the chemistry between LT/BA was magical, lovely romance for all ages. Watched the programme (Downton recorded adverts cut out) my friends didn't watch I introduced them to the DVD, do DVDs wear out? Haven't watched for a week perhaps I'm decompressing?

Nickel45 · 03/02/2015 18:10

They are the best orphan, I have a Florence one, but my brother had a Dougal one and I really wanted that one!!! Damn shame SPO has finished zombies (for now), I bet he could incorporate the magic roundabout in somehow!! Where are you SPO, about time you can back and said hello and let us know you are ok!

Nickel45 · 03/02/2015 18:12

kezia, now you are on here you have no chance of decompressing!!!! Smile

KeziaOAP · 03/02/2015 18:14

Nickel don't know why haven't joined in before.....you are so hilarious, thank goodness for T..a lady Grin

KeziaOAP · 03/02/2015 18:19

Had a surreal moment couple of weeks ago, was reading Zombie ff looked out the window to see Chinook flying quite low over the bottom of my garden thought the SZS were dropping in!!

Onlygirljen · 03/02/2015 18:22

Oh my word, I don't know how I managed to hold out for this long, but have spent the past 45 mins or so immersing myself in spo's zombie land instead of completing my appraisal form. Thank god the office is empty, I have snorted immense amounts of coffee over my desk and keyboard, and my mascara is ruined Smile

Spo - if you're out there, you are a true genius!

cjwoofwoof · 03/02/2015 18:43

No magic roundabout for me, but I do have a Rupert the Bear pillowcase I still insist on putting on DSs bed sometimes, and it's quite embarrassing when you're nearly 18! (he likes it really)

Welcome kezia I'm the normal one on here, it's the others you gotta watch - they can be sooooo cheeky! Grin

icemistOBE · 03/02/2015 18:47

Oh my just reading 'you had me at hello' and I love it! Didn't realise it was set in Manchester so I actually know the places mentioned Smile makes such a change from the usual 'London' books

Is there space for another one in your writers room jen? Especially as DH has announced that he's working on his cv for the next couple of nights so I have to type on my phone. He's been made redundant so he really should take priority. Still if we'd got an iPad like I suggested months ago we wouldn't be in this position....grr....

I shall have to spend the evening playing with my new sticker book instead. Yes, Nickel I got it.

Nickel45 · 03/02/2015 19:03

Oh yes cjwoof, I think if kezia has been following for more than a few days several threads she'll know how sensible and demure you are Wink.

Did any of you see Jonathon Ross at the weekend. I never watch it but for some reasonmybox recorded it! Anyway, Danny Dyer was on it, off Eastenders. Anyway, it was hilarious, he is very east end with a huge amount of slang and not very much "proper" English ... Not sure JR understood half of it, but reminded me of Molly!!! And he said nut, a lot!!!!

Richtea19 · 03/02/2015 19:21

I had a Paddington bear pillow case, don't think they did duvets when I was little! Got chucked with all my bears and dolls...sob!!

cjwoof I thought we were all normal...:)

KeziaOAP · 03/02/2015 19:23

Nickel sussed cjwoof Wink. Hello cjwoof Smile. Eastenders CJ name cropped up in one episode, Charlie cotton's new born son wasn't named so was called CJ!

cjwoofwoof · 03/02/2015 19:49

kezia all my ideas/suggestions seem perfectly normal to me, and some of the more outlandish manoeuvres on an unsuspecting CJ may appear absurd to the untrained eye but I can assure you are perfectly feasible and indeed attainable with thigh grips of iron and tightly clenched buttocks Wink

Nickel45 · 03/02/2015 20:08

Think we might gonna need to test the feasibility cjwoof!

cjwoofwoof · 03/02/2015 20:11

Bring on the AGM then Nickel Grin

Onlygirljen · 03/02/2015 20:14

pixie more than enough room for you just give me five minutes to get rid of the life sized CJ cardboard cut out that I use for research purposes

KeziaOAP · 03/02/2015 20:30

Wish I could join in with some of your manoeuvres cjwoof sorry to say I'm not so nimble these days Sad

orphan · 03/02/2015 20:51

Now I'm feeling really depressed that i didn't keep my Dougal and co bed linen...Sad

icemist so pleased you're enjoying 'you had me at hello'. I think I read it pretty much in one go, though of course I wasn't on this thread then. Smile Duhhh, I should have realised when you talk about catching the tram that you're in Manchester!!

icemistOBE · 03/02/2015 20:56

I've nearly finished it. So enjoyable. Helps that there's not been any ff updates today

I'm just north of Manchester City centre but on the tram line Smile
