Reading LaurieLove's view of reviews etc and agree entirely. Certain people have become somewhat precious about it all in recent weeks! I've tended to liken it to cooking. I quite enjoy cooking (and especially eating). My food is perfectly edible, nobody has been poisoned and I often have visitors for tea but I'm never going to win Masterchef or have any inclination to go on something like Come Dine with Me. Cooking is quite fun for me and surely that's how people should treat the writing?

onlygirl we need to recognise your abilities - is there an equivalent of Poet Laureate? MN Smut Laureate maybe? Or do we just go straight away for the MN Booker Prize?

I loved participating in the CJ Collective we did to fill in the gaps in episode 5 where we thought TG had rushed things but yours is on a whole different level. Following the basic storyline was one thing but how you and the others have the imagination to come up with a whole new direction is beyond me. I salute you all!

Oh jen that is funny. 5yo asked me today who the soldier was on my phone. Luckily he can't count past 100 yet....

onlygirl, nickel haha! That's funny that you've both read it! I loved it and her second one 'Here's looking at you' (fell in love with the hero) but was slightly disappointed by her last, 'it's not me, it's you.' Don't know, but it felt a bit rushed, though I did like the character Peshwari Nan in it. I think her books are great escapist reads (you know you're going to get a Healy resolution) with some very funny lines.

orphan I haven't read those books but i might well order them too. The only problem is I have three books waiting to be read that I haven't mana aged to touch for a while, I wonder why???

I've had a friend over today for lunch, that then turned into early roast dinner as well. She's one of my oldest school friends. She has a 5yr daughter. Her hubby left her 2 years ago :(. So I've had an afternoon of board games, marble runs and Jenna playing. I really had fun! And forgot I had a hangover!

onlygirl extea time with CJ yes but it has already bern decided by Richtea and myself that we get first dibs due to our lacking in the iceberg department.... you can be next!

Are you going to tell RL Chris of your new title and his involvement by association?

pixie I love your new story! Beautifully descriptive, it gives you a real feel for where MD is, and great that so far she is the main character. Brill :)
