Mark Rylance is too soppy, weak looking, when he threatens someone it's just not believable, whereas in the books you got the feeling he was really formidable, it's spoiling it for me but everyone else is excellent so I am continuing to watch as I like the story/history.

I'm really enjoying his portrayal, even if it sometimes slips into 'Smell The Fart' acting.

Mark Rylance soppy,weak-looking?? I don't think so,and I really would have hated to see a bruiser like Ray Winstone portray TC, it's much more interesting to see someone who looks sensitive and intelligent, but with a side we have yet to really see....

I don't think MR as TC is soppy at all, - although I suspect they have sexed him up a bit.

He's nicely developing an air of quiet menace. A bit like a Tudor Mafioso.
