I'd like to see Patrick modelling a cod piece.

I thought Sewing Bee was Thursday?

If it is on Wednesdays, then they ought to do a Wolf Hall special one week where everyone has to make a pair of breeches, tailor a made-to-measure gown for a coronation, and revamp a codpiece.

Ooooh - I'd forgotten it was Sewing Bee.

And 24 hours in A&E - which I'll have to record.

I think Wednesdays also deserve Wednesday Wine to calm me down.

Katie - don't forget to get a pin number to go with yr library card, then you can reserve books on line from the comfort of your own home. I get an email when my reservations are in & have 2 weeks in which to collect them.

Would be quite happy to move over to the History Club.

Could who ever starts a thread there possibly put a link to it at the end of this one?

Wolf Hall Wednesday!
Going to library later this afternoon, it's been years.
I am a carer as well as working FT so it's hard to get early eve or weekend time to myself but that's what flexi is for!

Yes, and it might encourage people to poke around the History topic a bit too.

There was a wolf hall thread in history club, but it died of sweating sickness!

It'd be nice to move to History Club - this thread is busy enough it's popped up in Active Convos so I don't think anyone would lose it. And I always feel a bit sad that the History Club exists, but most of the interesting threads about history start elsewhere, and get lost.

Is there a history club? Shock

We're going to need another thread soon. Should we keep it in Telly Addicts or shift to History Club?

And it's Episode Four tomorrow - life holds so much excitement.

I know. I'm counting down the hours. Especially since it was the last episode of Smiley's People tonight. Nothing much else to look forward to. Sad

Yes! Please all go & use your libraries - or they will cease to exist & then you will all moan.

Katie - I don't know if you were being tongue in cheek & saying that work prevented you going to your library, but most of them have at least one late opening a week & are open on a Saturday. When I lived in Exeter (some years ago) the main library was open on a Sunday as well.

Libraries are a wonderful resource - not unalike Tyndale's bible. It gives so much to so many.

I think I need to start a library thread tomorrow.

And it's Episode Four tomorrow - life holds so much excitement.
