Notebooks at the ready Grin We should have enough information at the end of the first episode to start cooking up some slightly implausible theories.

OP posts:
AnnieHoo · 19/01/2015 21:47

Is there a welsh connection?

MmeMorrible · 19/01/2015 21:47

Gruesome unhappy fake shagging (bleurgh). Just don't think OCs character would have gone through with that.

But this is ITV and she has a Bad Husband. Therefore she must do anything necessary to redeem herself while DT just looks tortured and have a Mystery Illness.

PeteCampbellsRecedingHairline · 19/01/2015 21:53

Cringey court scene Hmm

TwatFaceBitch · 19/01/2015 21:54

Yes I'm with you on that theory

jonicomelately · 19/01/2015 21:56

This is terrible. Fucking irresponsible.

ItsAllKickingOffPru · 19/01/2015 21:56

Ohhhh, yes. The Jury are bound to be more interested in the Goss.

Nerf · 19/01/2015 21:58

And again the music to cover up the crappy acting

Diamondring · 19/01/2015 21:58

Hang on so where was the crucial piece of evidence that Ellie supposedly was meant to discover this episode?

ItsAllKickingOffPru · 19/01/2015 21:58

Meh. I don't have high standards in TV drama but ffs.

PeteCampbellsRecedingHairline · 19/01/2015 21:59

Not watching next week. What a load of crap.

And why did the barrister not object to any of those ridiculous questions?

PeppermintPasty · 19/01/2015 21:59

I can't believe what utter cobblers this series is. Very disappointed Biscuit

This is the most crap thing ever. Even the stupid sub plot of the Blind Driving Barrister and the Gritty Mother of an Inmate.

DonkeysYears · 19/01/2015 22:01

Absolute shite!

MsRyanGosling · 19/01/2015 22:02

Is it written by the same people who wrote s1?

Wotsup · 19/01/2015 22:03

I enjoyed that...what happened???? I still can't follow the two stories. Did she do it with him in the two hours? I can't remember...what's my name?

cricketballs · 19/01/2015 22:04

I still love it! Question though to those in the know - how realistic is it that a defense lawyer will just try to make out an affair from limited evidence?

AnnieHoo · 19/01/2015 22:05

Yeah what was the crucial piece of evidence leading to a race against time?

ItsAllKickingOffPru · 19/01/2015 22:06

Not realistic at all Grin

BabyX · 19/01/2015 22:06

Am I missing something? Didn't Ellie's husband admit to this already? Is he claiming he didn't do it now? Did he want a trial just to air everyone's dirty washing before he goes down for it?

rollonthesummer · 19/01/2015 22:13

I still love it too, cricketballs!

I can't believe that everyone in the room knows that he confessed, yet they're banging on about Ellie and DT having plotted to frame him (whilst shagging!)!

DonkeysYears · 19/01/2015 22:13

So the last two cliff hangers were anticlimaxes - exhumation of body: oh, we didn't find anything, and two suspects fleeing from house: oh, we just got a taxi home. And now Ellie's Sue Ellen quivering lip. Defence council lady will prob just say at beginning of next episode 'oh, I was only teasing' and drop the whole thing.
