And we will surely fill this one with our musings and omg at who did kill ollie or wow he's alive

I still think mark had something to do with ollies dissapearence

Oh and I don't think there were a lot of unanswered questions, I think people read too much into things. Mollie died, no big reveal there, Vincent was a torchered paedophile who couldn't live with himself. His link to Ian was explained, they shared pictures. Monique was a random woman. Ziane was killed so he didn't reveal information that would implicate the mayor as he knew they were getting close. Mark was a police officer on holiday. Greg was shown so Tony'S temper could be shown and we could think he may be suspect. The other family/abduction was nothing that was related.

No idea what the big deal was with Malik was though. I think he never knew what happened, he just wanted to get the story to further his career. He told Tony he believed it was Ian just so Tony would spill the beans about the fact that he killed him.

Oh god yes I'm glad it wasn't a paedophile ring. I was hoping for a twist as in the characters linking together somehow

Tony has def gone mad - I think the throat cutter had been set up as being cold blooded enough to do it. My only quibble was the bit with tony and baptiste in the car at the end, where tony asked him about a lead some years ago - a package ?- and baptiste fobbed him off I felt? I had a scary moment of doubting baptiste's goodness!
Also felt sick when tony was in his apartment phoning baptiste back - it all went a bit spooky then and I thought for one min you were going to see HIM keeping Olly captive!

Baptiste's daughter's problems were there to allow his forgiveness to tony when he killed Ian Garrett - Baptiste said that doing the right thing didn't always get the right consequence (I thought )

Was that little dark haired one Baptise's daughter in rehab then - didn't get that so clearly

why Russia though? are we meant to think the Romanians sent him there because they didn't want to kill him, is throat slitter guy Russian and sent him to family there. someone must have given Tony the idea of looking g in Russia, as opposed to Romania, or slovakia or Slovenia. And Russia isn't even "the far east" anyway is it?

I reckon the second series with the girl will be them finding out about a child trafficking pipeline that the cade de cite were involved with and that they fed oli into to get rid of him.

Although I was pissed off with the ending I have to say JN acting was superb and I'm relived Ollie didn't end up in the hands of some paedophile.

If they had not shown the Russian scene at the start i wouldn't have got caught up in the idea that Ollie was still alive and felt so disappointed she he wasn't. Haven't yet decided if that was good telly or just very frustrating.

Laura I had the same fleeting doubt about Baptiste too, when he fobbed off Tony about the package. My heart sank!

JN deserves an award for his acting. He was superb in the hospital.

Does nobody speak Russian? What did the boy say when beardy gave him oli's drawing?

Oh and it was Monique at the wedding. She is listed in the cast list for the final episode and her picture is on IMDB. It definitely looks like her.

Was there two drawings in Russia? One at the beginning by the boy and one by JN at the end? Are the two of them both making the stick men drawings?

I don't think it's brilliant telly if there's this much debate about what has actually happened.
