I am already in pj's, slippers and fluffy dressing gown. Dp has his instructions to put kids in bed and stay upstairs in another room till its finished.

I agree the pool sequence looks like a dream sequence, but not once at the bar. And the police went into Tony's movements, and only 9 minutes were unaccounted for. I think that if they hadn't been swimming, the initial investigation would have shown up the discrepancy pretty quickly.

My theory....

Vincent took Ollie to rescue him from the attentions of Ken Stott who he saw watching him...but it went wrong. So, Ollie is dead, but Vincent saved him from being abused.

Or something like that.

Baptiste didn't say. But the implication is that it was from the statements made to the police from Tony and also from all those at the bar (what they saw, corroboration of timings as far as possible).

The hotel and Vincent (witness to events?) are key imo. However, I don't (hope) it's as simple as Alain being responsible.

I haven't contributed but have read all the threads and have loved all the different theories and speculations! I have suspected just about everyone at some point but have no clue how it's going to end!

I'm watching from France and if FilmOn screws me over tonight I won't be able to cope!

My theory is that Mark was using his contacts in the local police and knowledge of a paedophile ring/shady Romanian trafficking group to stage a fake abduction of his own son. He planned to flee to Morocco and meet his son there, much as the father in 2009 had planned. This is during his divorce from his son's mother.

It went wrong, obviously, and Ollie was killed when the gang realised their mistake.

I also think that Sylvie could be the queen bee of the paedophile ring, and that Alain is involved (hence the medal, which Seig probably dumped down the drain after his clean-up operation). The videos of abuse may well have been filmed at the hotel, perhaps involving the broken tv as a hidden camera? Not sure.

Mark has been trying to muddy the waters ever since, and moved in on Emily to influence her/remain close so he could control how much she knew. He obviously fell in love with her and would do anything to conceal his involvement in the disastrous kidnapping-gone-wrong.

The undercover cop whose throat was slashed discovered too much, and Mark had him eliminated.
