I do think the blurb about the queen bee is meant to point to a woman as a suspect. Sylvie said 'your son was always in my prayers'--Past tense. Why stop praying?

The writers could really mess with everyone by everything else being a red herring and the murderer being Vincent. Simplest/most realistic. With Garrett (Vincent's abuser in past) helping cover up.

Mark went to see Malik after Ziane was killed, baptiste asked him to go, so presumably he told him

Very clever to use the journo phone hacking thing in 2009. Very timely.
Unfortunately I missed the sound on the first 20 mins due to a phone call I thought at 8.45 was going to be short! But picked up the gist as it went on.
Can't understand why they would all turn up to interview ziane though, half the prison must have known that everyone in the ollie case was turning up for a chat with him.

Vincent's Dr has been a bit off with him throughout. I don't feel compassion for him, but he's trying to do something about his tendencies at least.

Mark wouldn't have known about Alain and the AA, how could he? He's not from CDB nor does he speak French, so unlikely to have swapped the real evidence for this.

I think I'm getting too tired now.

Why are we still seeing so much of Vincent? Surely he has to be significant???

Mark...in the early episodes he was intercepting emily's calls etc as didn't want her taking up the search for ollie again. Yet as soon as Baptiste calls and asks him to visit malik, he is all over it. Unless Baptiste knows something and wants Mark back in france??

Anyone else think the phone convo between Laurence and Baptiste re. You could solve a crime from your armchair is significant?

And what of greg? Why mention him, reintroducing him as working in a hospice and then nothing!

Mewkins that's one of the reasons why I think Greg is key why introduce him initially and then let him fade away (though I did notice he and Mark exchanged a very suspicious look at the hospital, suggesting previous history).

Fallon Colby I think that in the very first episode when the family were in the car that Ollie said that his drawing was of Tony. If I remeber correctly, Tony stopped the car to take a call from work and then got back in the car, which wouldn't start. I wonder if that was all significant. We have never been told what sort of work Tony did/does or what the work call was about.

I think 2009 wasn't all about the other missing boy. It was about the breakup of tony and Emily, and her getting together with mark. The way she looked at him when he held her hand on the bed was odd.

Agree Vincent is key to unravelling this. If he can't take the drugs I bet he will go back to settle old scores and take everyone down with him.

I think Mark is horrible but I don't think he switched the evidence nor do I think Tony is involved - the comment about the family was Marks way of getting under Tonys skin. Otherwise why would he keep searching all these years.

I do think the hoteliers are a good shout now as they were there completely randomly, so those are the only ones really in a position to tell anyone there was an outsider child in town (& would also know about the swimming as they went back to the hotel to get their stuff)

I don't see how Vincent can be Molly, as the doctor mentioned the drug (began with a T, full name might come back to me) and it is a brand name of an androgen suppressor. That wouldn't be given to female becoming male.

Vincent had found some peace with chemical castration. I hope a temporary drug suspension isn't enough to ruin things for him.
