45' into the play and I already cried my eyes out when the nursery class danced on "walking on sunshine"...and I don't even have a kid in that class!!! Such a sissy!!!

orphan I know what you mean about the CJ pic looking a bit like Mr Punch (that's the way to do it! - repeated in the usual high pitched way) and I have to confess it's not my favourite still photo from the series and it probably isn't BA's either. I guess we all have those sorts of pics hidden away, don't we? At least ours aren't published on forums like this for everyone to comment on. I suppose if CJ is Punch that makes MD Judy so where's the dog and the crocodile?

I've got school show today as well, seen as I blubbed on his 1st day at school I'm expecting more tears today.

I know it's an awful picture, not many of that scene. (Won't be posting it again)

Am just watching low rise to candleford to check out the cricket whites as its a lovely show

Ooh he's a bit older in this one- definitely can see some mannerisms that are his that his rather than CJ. 5 mins in and I've had the deep intake of breath, throat clearing, deep and meaningful gaze, he's a bit commanding too still looks better in uniform though!

And a wink - but not as good as EP 2 one

Oh Icemist nothing intended by my comments. Everyone loves the lumber shirts so BA will have to lump it if it's not the best pic. (Oh dear, I am sounding like I think he has protested about or something!) I'm sure he can cope, after all actors have to learn to cope with their body image being scrutinised its part of the job, sadly. He can satisfy himself with saying it was all part of being 'in character'.

To be honest its the BBC's fault there aren't any better pictures because they should have made that scene longer and perhaps we could have seen what happened behind the door! Oh no, beginning to be cross again about the kiss that never was! How did they manage to make so many people hot under the collar in a series that had just one hand holding moment, one face cupping and forehead resting and one single kiss on camera which was largely obliterated by lighting effects? VERY clever, wasn't it.

Update from my friend in Canada re BA. She has made enquires with her sources and none of them have seen BA name on casting lists etc . She said, maybe it's a film his making and not a TV production. After I informed her about the tweet and him being out of contact filming up a mountain. She said that she would make further enquires with a few friends she knows in the film industry. I will let you know know if she comes back with any info.

I did read somewhere that there is a film being made in the Vancouver area filming November/December called "Go With Me" starring Anthony Hopkins, Ray Liotta and Julia Stile which is apparently set in the Pacific Northwest logging community! Its a thriller. I'm sure this is probably a total red herring and may have finished filming but I just thought I'd tell you all to fuel more logger lumber shirt fantasies!!

Actually, my further investigations reveal filming started the week after the OG DVD release and is supposed to go on until late December. You never know. Apparently, Anthony Hopkins has a 'young sidekick!'. Not that I'm a rumour mongerer or anything. Not sure how you would check the cast list for this film but someone must know! I smell fish!!

Checked IMDB cast list - computer says no!

Still there could still be something involving lumber jack shirts!

Now realise that the smell of fish was in fact my lunch!

Too much time on my hands again. Need to sign out and get busy!

I'm watching some crappy Christmas lovey dovey film while tackling my massive ironing pile, and the main man has spent the entire film wearing a lumberjack shirt. He's so not CJ but I can imagine . . .!

I just heard a brilliant quote from John Lennon on the radio that sums this thread up to a tee!

(The quote was given in the context of a discussion on Jeremy Vine's show about the MP caught playing Candy Crush in a committee meeting. There were then various contributors about the addictive nature of playing these games with particular reference to people doing this at work. I obviously drew some parallels but then smugly decided that although this is addictive it does have intellectual content!)

Yes, so much potential for the door opening scene wasn't there. Perfect moment for another tongue sweep against teeth a la "dawsey" scene. Or even a lip bite. Or doing that thing with mouth as in ditto". Shame.
