Interesting. There is a Starz trailer which shows a very brief shot of what looks like a wedding, shot over Emily's shoulder - her now - you can tell by the hair. Looks like she's giving a speech. In the background is Ollie, he's young so she must be imagining him there

I guess it could be a dream sequence of a wedding with Mark- her wondering if she could go through with it...
Or if not and it is a real wedding it would suggest that Mark isnt a baddie...?
Ps I just happened upon the picture as I know some kids who go to the stage school . I wasnt on a Missing stalking mission!

The original Starz trailer, it also has some shots of Ollie in the window but from inside the room he's in. And him running up a corridor and running in the woods. I wonder if this is stuff we will get to see or just something filmed for the trailer

I'll take a shot at this, here is my dish.

The car in eps 1 didn't breakdown by chance, it was setup to fail.
Mark took Olly and used his own Son's ID to bring him back to the UK for Greg Halpern (why? maybe something to do with Mark's wife and/or related to Tony duffing Greg up, honesty who cares why).

Add red herring to taste and bake for 58 minutes, serve to very disappointed audience.

Everything else is just everything else.

Interesting, polly, but a few questions

If Mark used James' ID to move Ollie, on what documents did James return to UK?

If Mark was responsible for the kidnap, who carried it out? (I'm assuming you don't take your son along when you're snatching another boy. Or if you do, you make sure he's never in a position to spill, so probably don't move missing boy's mother in with him even a few years down the line)

How would Mark know the Caid? Or if they're not involved with the abduction, what are they doing that led to murder?

I'm pretty sure that they don't check numbers going in to the UK from France just your ID, so Mark wouldn't have needed to cover his tracks.

My guess would see Make using Olly's yellow scarf to lure him out of the bar in eps 1, maybe Mark took the scarf while Olly and Tony were swimming.

A guess would also see Mark planting the AA coin, maybe he knew about the pedo ring.

Something went wrong at the house where Mark kept Olly and he called on the mob to help clean it up, so now Mark owes the mob.

I also think something happened prior to eps 1, something we don't yet know, maybe Tony or his wife took a photograph that could be incriminating.

Does any one else think that the ears what Olly drew on the wall in the house look a loot bigger than those in the picture he drew, Mark has very big ears.

I think that Vincent knows the truth and maybe he saw Olly in the fastfood joint where he works which is what made him sick and not the drugs he is on.

Vincent was sick in 2014, and the boys in the fast food place weren't teens (Ollie would be about 13/14 in that time line).

Interesting pic of Mark & James at a wedding. Maybe Mark & Emily did get married hence the Minister in the final episode.

AuntieStella is right. Vincent's body was rejecting the drugs but he was desperate and looking for other reasons such as his journey to Oxford or bugs going around. I don't think his 'ending' is going to be a happy one.

The minister was in ep 1 (have now checked names, is the same actor)

Was he in the French church, at the hospice, or just randomly elsewhere?

It's true that the kids in the fastfood place Vincent is looking at are younger but maybe we are not seeing the whole picture

AuntieStella Yes!! The Minister was in the Hospice. Emily said something like " must be nice" ..... "To have something to believe in"

And Julien said that the bees needed something to believe in, to get them through the winter.

If he's the hospice padre, it does suggest that there is something happening there which needs revisiting as part of the denouement. And (as I think I've posted before) I do wonder why we do not know Emily's parents' surname.

AuntieStella you're intriguing me. I hadn't thought about the lack of surnames before and now I'm desperately racking my brain to think why don't we but more importantly what would it tell us? Someone connected to them?
Maybe it's not considered necessary but I doubt that now.

It might of course just mean that one or both of the writers is a fan of TBBT, and thought it would be funny to have a Penny with no surname.

Just watched ep 3 and if you pause it on 49min 12/13 secs you can see the person runnin off who slit Leon's throat at the train station and its a woman !!!
