Original thread here, disappearing scarves, grey-haired doppelgängers and twin theories abound. Has anyone done a spreadsheet yet?

Ow we know what happened to his leg!

reem1 · 02/12/2014 22:01

Confused even more, Karl saying it was Romanians,Romanians said before it wasn't them. Maybe if wasn't Romanians but they just helped abductor with their contacts. Don't know anything anymore!

McButtonwillow · 02/12/2014 22:02

Arghh another week and still feels we're no closer to knowing.

Pud2 · 02/12/2014 22:02

What's in the envelope?!

OttiliaVonBCup · 02/12/2014 22:03

What was in the envelope?
Baptiste said he never had evidence from Zidane.
Was is the dirty on Charmartain?

reem1 · 02/12/2014 22:03

There wasn't much in that episode and I had hoped for the leg to become injured in much more dramatic circumstances! Whatever policeman did most likely doesn't link to Ollie anyway.

MsRyanGosling · 02/12/2014 22:04

I thought the French female detective seemed shifty in that episode when she said her daughter was ill .. Didnt seem to ring true.

Yes to the leg and yes to how that chap ends up in jail.

Pieces of The Missing jigsaw being checked off the sheet Grin

Jenda · 02/12/2014 22:04

who is charmartain?

fredfredsausagehead1 · 02/12/2014 22:04

What were all the toys in the journalist house when Vincent came to talk to himShock

OttiliaVonBCup · 02/12/2014 22:05

They did show the daughter in an earlier episode and she was poorly, so it might be true.

mewkins · 02/12/2014 22:05

What can vincent tell the jpurnalist about Ollie???

reem1 · 02/12/2014 22:05

It was something he found by the pool, a tape perhaps. Must be something that the journalist had to check/watch otherwise why had he given it to
him for 24h.

OttiliaVonBCup · 02/12/2014 22:05

It's what sleazy journo blackmails sleazy policeman with.

mewkins · 02/12/2014 22:06

Also now convinced Sylvie can't be a baddie.

scratchandsniff · 02/12/2014 22:06

What happens to the evidence then? Baptists said it was not handed in. Does mark hide it? But then surely baptiste would query what happened to the envelope.

AuntieStella · 02/12/2014 22:06

My guess is that the envelope contains whatever reptilian journo had on Ziane (icw Charles Montagne (?) or whatever that name is). Journo kept the evidence from the drain, and threw Ziane to the wolves (or should that be foxes) when he started to stand up for himself and attempt extrication.

MsRyanGosling · 02/12/2014 22:08

The scarf perhaps?

reem1 · 02/12/2014 22:08

Whatever it was it wasn't that conclusive evidence since journalist was given it in 2006 and by 2014 he didn't publish about what had happened to Ollie.

scratchandsniff · 02/12/2014 22:08

So much blood in the basement too. What the hell did they do to Ollie? There can't be a good outcome. I just hope it doesn't get too upsetting.

OttiliaVonBCup · 02/12/2014 22:09

Not scarf.
It was small enough to fit on the palm of a hand.

RabbitsarenotHares · 02/12/2014 22:10

Charmartain seems to refer to a murder in Morocco. No idea how the journo knew enough about it to connect Zaine with it from seeing him in tv. He said his father was over there at the time, but no further details.

Think the envelope contained information about Charmatain.

OttiliaVonBCup · 02/12/2014 22:11

yes.
And he kept the evidence.

AuntieStella · 02/12/2014 22:15

"What the hell did they do to Ollie? There can't be a good outcome. I just hope it doesn't get too upsetting."

I keep hoping it's a horrible nosebleed or something.

But one of the first things Julien said was something along the lines of 'in cases such as this you find the child quickly or not at all'

ArsenicSoup · 02/12/2014 22:15

Think the envelope contained information about Charmatain.

Yes.

And it cant have contained the poolside evidence too because in the present, Baptiste was surprised to hear of it existing.

SolomanDaisy · 02/12/2014 22:19

It wasn't necessarily ollie' s blood in the basement, there could have been an argument between people involved in taking him. But finding out he died that night would probably be the most realistic ending.
