X Factor - Let the games begin!

So we're onto X Factor proper!

The pretty guy was Ashley then . For me, I'm lovin the Hairdressers (not a clue what their band name is), the pretty guy (Ashley), and Ben (long hair).

Don't like stage school kid one teeny tiny bit.

I like Ashley too - he's got 'it', and his voice is really quite unusual

I like the woman from Sharons group.

Think her names Kerry.

She has a lovely voice.

Anyone else think Louis made bad choices with the bands last night? We totally agreed with Sharon and Simon but why on earth he sent The Brothers home and left the two skinny Scots boys in I have no idea.

The young boy who cries so much makes me nervous. I think Simon is right that he can't handle the pressure. He gets so distraught and down on himself that the thought crosses my mind he could do something foolish if he "blows" it.

The girl singing in memory of her mum is called Nickeeta, she has a lovely voice.

No, no crying Shawn Misdee - he didn't think he'd take the pressure. I agree that he could easily have done something silly... hearing him talking about letting everyone down was scary.

I was sooo waiting for Louis to tell the scots boys that "You have great voices, but in X Factor we are looking for something else too, and unfortunately.. you're just dull!"

Right... Run down of who's in (with a big gap for those who haven't watched it all yet):

Over 25s:
Ben (long hair)
Robert (I think) - hospital worker guy
Dionne - big gap between her teeth
Kerry - Broken back, cries a lot

Groups:
Hairdressers (after finding out the the other group lied and got kicked out)
The scots brothers
The unconventionals
The boyz 2 men type group

Under 25s
Stage school kid (dark hair, been in a soap of some sort - got the bonus place after boot camp)
Nikkita - no mum, something to do with Katie from O 25s
Ashley - pretty guy
Nameless woman who looks like a young sinnita

I like Ray aka the stage school kid. Think he is genuine and down to earth. I mean Kerry from Sharon's group has done tv before so I don't think that should be held against him. Think he's got a great personality and is a good singer. More than can be said for some of them that made it to the final four!

Ray is the guy who got the bonus place.

The ones you're calling the hairdressers are Eaton Road.
The boyz 2 men type group are Four Sure (4Sure, ForSure - who knows!)

I didn't realise Robert was a hospital worker though. He's the one who did Crazy yes? I like him.

Favourite for me at the moment is the Unconventionals.

It is the cockiness and stage school stylee grin that makes me want to beat Ray... I don't care about the tv stuff

Robert is definitely my favourite. He is certainly very sincere and loves what he does. But I do like Ray! I don't see him being cocky at all.

I think Leona from Simon's group will win. I don't like or dislike her but I think she's got a lot of the qualities they're looking for and the public will love her.

I will be rooting for the McDonald brothers who live locally. We haven't really got to hear much of them yet. They are really talented and can play a vast array of instruments, but apparently aren't allowed to play on the show.

I'm going for the long haired guy and Kerry in Sharons group, the unconventionals from Louis group and I have to say I do like Ray's voice. I also like the other guy with the brilliant hair

They claimed that 2 of them had got together and then found the rest of them to form the band, when in fact they'd been put together by a music manager who used to have something to do with X Factor.

Didn't sound so terrible to me, but apparently it's in breach of the rules, so I guess they had to act. Expect there's a bit more to it than they showed.

It sounded like they had been planted by this guy who had previously been associated with the show. Either the boys were naive or paid to take their chances but they seemd to accept the game was up.

They had claimed to be friends who came together and rehearsed when in fact they had been manufactured, and presumably coached and presented, specifically. I'm surprised it hadn't come to light earlier though as I would have thgouht they'd check out all those who made the last 8 round.

Those McDonald brothers look like they need a few hot dinners, bearing in mind the TV puts 10lb on you they must be 7 stone each.
