This themed song business turns the contestants into karaoke singers instead of allowing them to sing songs that best suit their vocal abilities/age/images.

I think Louis for once talked some sense in what he said about Kerry and Ashley and made the right choice

Kerry was a good singer but nothing special and Simon was right (again!!) about her being a club singer

Thank god Louis kicked Kerry off, thought he was going to keep her in just to annoy Simon. Had to laugh at the way they all consoled Ashley for forgetting his words at the time with all the 'all the big stars have forgotten their words', and then bollocked him for exactly that and 'being unprofessional' once he was in the bottom 2!
Leona's got a good voice, but I hate all that bloody Mariah/Christina yodelling carry on. Wonder if Simon's got into her knickers yet.
