On another note, I have heard back from my friend in Canada, who informs me that BA has not been filming anything for her production company. She noted that BA was "quite hot" and she could see the appeal.... She promised to dig around to see if any of her colleagues know have either heard of him, or know what he has been filming.

Just been in the car and Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk' came on the radio. Couldn't help feeling the lyrics were spot on for CJ:

Glad I was on my own cos I was funking away (quite an achievement whilst driving) calling out "CJ!" at appropriate moments.

SPO,,, totally gobsmacked! Bloody brilliant. I laughed so loud, which I shouldn't of as at the Docs with dad. Echoing what someone else said, you have such talent as a writer. Fabulous imagination, I bet your two boys have such fun at home. Can you be hired out????

Ok people, I've reached a point with my FF where I can stop tinkering. I like parts of it, and I'm not so keen on others.

It's a Molly POV/thought processes thing set in the scene in episode 2 where she's ogling CJ as he's working out. It's one of my favourite scenes, quite subtly done, some lovely acting from Lacey. We discussed it a few threads back and someone said it was a really good depiction of female desire, and I agree. We don't get to see it subtly done very often. It also struck me (I've been thinking about this a lot) that it's also a real maturing point for Molly. In the first series she shagged that bloke at basic, and between 1 & 2 she's shagged at least Smurf in similar circumstances, but I'd like to hope that her experinces on tour as well as a growing sense of her self worth are coming to the fore and she's trying to change the way she acts.
It's not all ogling and smutty thoughts, she's also reflecting on her experience of being in theatre and realising how different the world is.

SPO that was amaaazing!! You get better and better with each chapter. Echo everything that's already been said, you are extremely talented.

pixie it's brilliant. Really captured what we could see playing out on Molly's face as she watched CJ. Loved the comparison between the kids there and back home. Great ending as well. More please!

Can't believe what talented writers this thread has thrown up. I don't remember whose idea it first was to write the fan fic, but whoever it was, thank you!

Just wanted to also share my experience in Tescos today rubbing shoulders with a policeman at the sandwich counter (no I wasn't being arrested). I couldn't help but notice his embracement of the low slung utility belt on his black uniform. Not quite up there with army fatigues but hey, it made my day a bit brighter!

pixie that is bloody brilliant. I am at work now hiding working in the print room so I can read it again (probably wasn't my best idea to read it my desk, albeit on my phone. Phew!). Wow. You have to put on fanfic, definitely.

I went out for a lovely boozy lunch with a very old uni friend (bloke) and my boss, and am not concentrating on work very well this afternoon!

Pixie, dont undersell yourself, that piece you have written is brilliant! You have got to publish it on fanfic!

Been lurking a bit recently but just wanted to check in to tell SPO and pixie how much I enjoyed your writing. Please keep it up; you are both bloody brilliant!

In other news, I just read this in a newsletter and thought of all of you : "The back entrance must always be left empty also to allow for
emergency access and as a turning point for others."

If CJ was about there's no way any of my entrances would be left empty for very long, in case he needed emergency access.

OK, giving up with work, just disappeared to reread Pixie and SPO's work, and can't stop laughing! My colleague next to me just looked at me like I'm mad and said "Something tickled you?". What could I say!?!? Anyway .....!!! She's hardly ever in the office ... pretty sure she will try and ensure her "office" days don't coincide with mine in the near future!!
