I would really love to go. Did mention to DH about Bailbrook after you mentioned in an earlier post and suggested to DH, he seemed keen and then questioned why Bath?, couldn't keep it from him so admitted OG filming Ep5 etc. Reponse was why don't you go with a friend as you clearly don't want me with you...Ooops got rumbled!

Yes need to go back and look where that bedroom scene was filmed! Fed up with Jonathon Ross on TV think I'll watch Ep 5!

If you wanted to do some more detective work, you could always ring Bailbrook House maybe and enquire - the guy on reception was reasonably forthcoming. It could only be good publicity for them, surely? I also found a link to the Bath local newspaper where the filming and Bailbrook House had been mentioned so they're presumably not shy of the association? Daren't do it myself as I have rung up on three separate occasions so they may well recognise my voice by now. I've looked at the internet photos of the rooms but nothing looked quite like CJ's bedroom but I guess the film crew would possibly move things around anyway.

was chuckling to myself at orphans comment about NVM and richtea meeting up whilst the adverts were on for Jonathon Ross when the song 'people helping people' came on - my head snapped up thinking it must have been something to do with OG (not realising it was the wrong channel) and it was Broadchurch!

Its an OG soundtrack song and always will be!

Hello everyone! Checking in before I trundle off to bed. I have told DH that when we finally get a night away to ourselves (currently weaning toddler off mummy milk!) we should consider Bailbrook House ;) I must confess to having muttered to myself that none of the bedrooms looked like the right one

Just been watching Ep 3 with a big silly smile on my face at the Rosabaya scene. I also love the "Touch me again and I'll break your arm" scene! Sometimes I wish I had Molly's flair with language, although in reality I am far too strait laced to swear...

Just finished Ep4 - have downloaded on iTunes and watching on my phone. I couldn't hear CJ say "molly" after she storms out of the wardrobe after finding out about CJ's wife.

Rosabaya, oh how I love that scene.

Just watched Ep 1 series one of The Fall. I understand Jamie Dornan is meant to be some kind of heartthrob. Really?! Can't see it myself - he can't hold a candle to CJ/BA.

Top reconnaissance Richtea and NVM - in the words of Molly's mum (or was it nan, remember I'm only GCSE level), "you're brave"!

I have a question - we all love Our Girl, but is there a particular scene that you don't like that you just have to fast forward to avoid. For me it's in Ep3 when Molly is on R&R and she comes home to find out that her Mum wants a job and is spending time with Shazza. I fast forward that bit until Molly goes to Newport.

What's your worst bit (and I don't mean the lack of a kiss in Bath)

Good question snumpy. Would agree that bit is one of my least favourites although it does include the scene where MD is dabbing the rosabaya writing on her arm after her shower which is so sweet!

...i think i have watched this too many times...anyone noticed on this scene mentioned by SPO no back tattoo?

House was 5 royal crescent. If you google that it brings up estate agency and has interior photos. It's right move website

There is a hotel at 16 royal crescent but the room - with phone on wall - doesn't appear in the photos there either

elsie I didn't notice the tattoo, or better, lack of it...(I saw it in the rosabaya scene). Wonder if its a Lacey real tatto that they forgot to cover!

Scenes I would ffd (but I don't because I only have ep3 on the phone and I stopped watching it or really am ready for asylum):

The shooting scene on the bridge when Molly turns her back to Badrai

Its Lacey's tattoo as in a recent Eastenders episode Dean commented on it.

Can't believe I haven't spotted the tatto on R&R I will have to go back and re watch (any excuse). Maybe because that is the bit I fast forward? Mostly it's fast forward on anything that doesn't involve CJ! I fast forward MD and Smurf in the car coming home for R&R and some of the scenes in Wales.

So one month out from the last episode how are we all doing re obsession? Are we all progressing on decompression? Are we maintaining our determination to change our lives for the better? What's our level of commitment to this thread? Would be interesting to hear where we all are.

Morning! I fast forward the Shazza bits. Makes up a little for the pauses I do on CJ.

No answers yet on my question of wink or no wink in hospital scene. It's bugging me cos I don't think its really an appropriate moment for a wink, but I don't like to think either that CJ has an uncontrollable twitch! Can someone please put me out of my misery?!

Is it really a month? gosh thats gone quickly. My Sunday nights are boring. I really enjoyed the whole series- of course having the lovely BA as CJ was great casting- but I think I'd have enjoyed it anyway.

And I really enjoy discussing all things OG on here- like everyone else, no-one I know watched it. I like that although we are all rather obsessed, we do have a laugh about it which I think is important.

I love this discussion, I havent even looked at other discussions on Mumsnet and only joined because of Our Girl. As long as someone is willing to talk all things OG/CJ I'll be here.

Not sure I've changed anything in my life, well apart from joining tumblr, writing and sending my first ever autograph request...

I've not noticed a wink in the hospital, but am happy to do some research now

Appreciate that this photo isn't very cheerful but thought fellow fans/enthusiasts/obsessives may find this interesting - wizardry of film making or maybe a rehearsal - in a car park by the look of it!

My least favourite scene is also 'do you love me' and CJ turns around - pretty unlikely I would say.

Thinking of taking opera glasses to the concert to make sure I have a good view - is that gonna look weird!

Orphan there is a wink, but you're right, it does seem a wierd time to wink, so I reckon it was just a twitch ... Cos he was so excited to tell molly that they didn't have to wait out any more (does that sound better than an uncontrollable twitch?).
SPO funilly enough I was thinking this morning, I am finally not waking up thinking about OG (honestly, how old am I?) but still haven't managed a day without watching something. And my conversations seem to be punctuated with OGisms (although i do talk quite a lot like molly in the first place!). It's also incredible how many things i hear which remind me of OG, but that must be TGs brilliant writting? Love this thread though, and like need to check several times a day .... Good to know that I'm not alone feeling like this. I guess at some time things will get back to"normal", but sometimes it's nice to indulge in a little fantasy!
Speaking of fantasy, I just saw the trailer for 50 shades .... The chemistry betwen the two in that are not a patch on CJ and MD!

I have to admit that I haven't actually watched any OG for a couple of weeks! I have restricted myself to conversation on this thread. Does that count as decompressed? I was trying to hold out until the week after Christmas which is always depressing and then give myself a little OG fest to cheer myself up! However, DH has to disappear out for a few hours today and I was thinking of using ironing as an excuse to do some revision! I am tempted - should I succumb?

I am still trying to change for the better as far as the demands of my DC's will allow - which is always the stumbling block. No matter what you intend RL always gets in the way.

From memory -clearly distant memory compared to some of you hence the need for revision - in the hospital scene when Molly and Smurf first go in to see CJ he does a sort of rolling eyes upwards motion after speaking to Smurf. I always think that he's telling Smurf to buzz off and leave him with Molly or is it just a funny kind of twitch or convulsion? Any ideas?
