Just reading fanfic; I really enjoyed the latest chapter on Reunion by KathyCastle! Great conversation between the two.

Yay for having a running partner and even better that it's DH. I used to run fairly regularly on my own, pre-kids, but this is the first time I've lured DH out. Hope we manage to keep it up! Apsara what's metafit like?

Just seen a couple of minutes of Coronation Street. Not seen that for weeks and weeks (mainly because I am either on here or watching re-runs of OG). Major Morley has just appeared. Looks as if he's a lawyer in this. I'd also forgotten that he was in Holby City for a while as an orthopaedic surgeon.

SPO I will check out if Sainsburys are doing a "his" version of our stag panties on Sunday.

I seem to be seeing stags everywhere at the moment (although to be fair, I've always rather liked a stag, so tend to be drawn to them anyway). Quite liking the Sainsburys stag pants for a giggle, I've actually just called my mother and asked if she's in there over the weekend, might she look out for some. She responded by asking me if I didn't think I was too old for them and what would DH think, which I'm afraid just made me more determined! I'm guessing that means she won't be getting me the soldier egg cup and toast soldier cutter I put on my Xmas list.

Must also mention that I felt a huge sense of pride seeing my name on the list of 'hardcore' members! If you'd told me this 5 weeks ago, I'd have died of shame. Now I am immensely proud.

Hello people's, quick check in, feel I have been AWOL all day, Christmas shopping trip with friend and night in a premier Inn (not going halves on a Travel Lodge and very sadly not with CJ). Enjoy reading all your posts wi save them for Ron?!

monopod metafit is like circuits but more intense, timed periods of exercise then rest, each session is different. I'm a sweaty mess at the end but I'm definitely getting fitter.
I popped into sainsbury's on way home - gutted pants with robins on or Scottie dogs not quite the same :(

You know when the likes of Nigella, Jamie, Delia etc recommend something and it flies off the shelves, do you think the same might happen with the stag lingerie range at Sainsburys? Maybe they will offer us a discount!

I was just musing that probably all the stuff in the shops is actually reindeer. Isn't it? Then I thought that male reindeer aren't called stags. They're called bulls, or bucks (I think). Am I just being a spoilsport now shuts up

Am going shopping tomorrow so excited about checking out the stag pants. Will be looking closely at any other women showing interest in them. Could they be one of you lot? We need a secret signal - maybe a simple rotation of the hand (swinging mic action, but without hip swivel).

?? There's a code name to communicate between spies or Masonic members...and there's the mic-swinging gesture for OG fans! Makes sense! We should still get the stag logo on t-shirt (at this point, we could get it onto running t-shirts! Sound a useful purchase with this sport frenzy...), and a verbal sign. We could whisper "Molly"...which sounds less suspicious than "fuckmuppetts", and puts us less at risk of a police injunction....

Or sing/hum 'Don't Go breaking my Heart' to which the response is of course 'I couldn't if I tried' ( together with swinging mic action whilst subtly indicating the discreet logo on the T-shirt and pulling waist band down a smidge to flash stag knickers).

Morning all! Miserable day here. Got to get the car exhaust sorted out this morning then the boys want to go on a bug hunt in the garden (yuck).

Have been thinking about OG rhyming slang around 'Captain James' and have the following to offer:

'Have to entertain the boys today so must think of some good captains' (children's games)

'If Cherin keeps producing those excellent sketches might gonna have to get me some captains' (picture frames)

'I have got tickets to Cinderella this Christmas. I am hoping to see some good captains' (pantomime dames)
