I actually wanted a genuine pair of army surplus but couldn't find a pair small enough. The quality of these (heavy cotton) is pretty decent; they're a bit overdone in the pocket department but they have a nice shape.

Had to get up extra early to check out overnight developments as I'm running out of excuses for being late for school run/work/life in general. Trouble is, a couple of people are onto me so every time I run in to the office looking slightly harassed and complaining of traffic (or worse still, "DS was being a little b**r this morning"), I've noticed a couple of "yeah right, you've been stalking that army bloke again".

I'm clearly at my most vulnerable there. I need to stay focused, stay alert, stay alive.
