Sounds like its worth watching. I didn't realise programmes could be downloaded from iTunes. Thanks for the tip. That's tomorrow evening's viewing sorted.

icemist · 10/11/2014 06:24

Good morning!

Will be able to watch an episode again today.

Omg BA has been on Twitter!!! He's actually tweeted

icemist · 10/11/2014 06:42

I would recommend watching the standalone OG. The change in Molly- she's completely changed her life around. You can see even her influence on her parents. Her dad is awful in it
It's one of the reasons I think that there won't be another series.

SPOfficer · 10/11/2014 07:59

Morning everyone. Agree about the pilot, well worth a watch. Remember being a bit disappointed Corp. Geddings wasn't in the series early on but that didn't last long!

Off to work this morning with a plan to extend my CJ emulation to the office environment (in terms of my managerial approach). I will let you know how it goes!

cherin · 10/11/2014 08:14

You're going to scream "you massive cockwombles" to someone??!!!! Oh I so want to do soooooo!!!
(Not that I would be understood. Most co-workers are not English either)

orphan · 10/11/2014 08:30

Morning all. Busy day today, but hope I can check in periodically.

SPOfficer good luck for today's attempts. Am intrigued to know what they entail. Sitting in an alpha male way on your desk (in lieu of a Jeep bonnet) clutching your coffee, and exhorting "Dig in!" or "You'd only be cheating yourself" followed by "I think our work here is done"? Of course, the ultimate encouragement (must be accompanied by sustained, meaningful eye contact) "I want you to be brilliant" should be used sparingly. Hope you still have a job by the end of today...Wink

PassTheSherry · 10/11/2014 08:32

Awww - The first thing BA tweets after all the increased female attention is supporting a good cause. What a sweetheart.

stressybird · 10/11/2014 08:33

Right this is getting bad. Really should be getting ready for work and most certainly will be late now, but just flicking through (welcome spartak and anyone else) and see icemist comment that BA has tweeted. Thought I had signed up or whatever it is one does on Twitter but can't work it out for the life of me. Am going to grab one of the youngsters at work today and bribe them with chocolate to help me. Might go along the "oh a friend of mine follows some BA bloke, let's try that first shall we?". Have a good day everyone.

stressybird · 10/11/2014 08:49

Found the tweet! PassTheSherry, second your comment, what a sweetheart. I think I'm falling in love all over again but with BA this time, not just CJ. Has also tweeted on a cuse close to my heart, MND. Do all read the associated story if you get a chance.

Beingfrank · 10/11/2014 08:51

SP - for a worrying moment I thought you were going to introduce lip biting/mouth twitching and pool lounging to the office environment!

I found myself researching nespresso machines at the weekend, having never been remotely interested before.

icemist · 10/11/2014 08:51

He's tweeted about it before.
My mums aunt died from MND but that was in the 70's they didn't even have a name for it then.

Did make me go aww. I think he genuinely is a nice man.

Ilovelblue · 10/11/2014 08:52

SPO can I be a fly on the office wall? And with that thought, I must leave for work myself. I will be brilliant today, I just know it.

PleaseDontAskMeToFailForYou · 10/11/2014 09:34

Hello - I feel like a Clingon - de cloaking after all this time ... 2 and half thousand posts !! Mad - but excellent ... RL sadly proves can't find anybody who is as advanced as yourselves ....mind you You Tube has lots of wavy hair and lip biting added to songs of angst ! ??
The best though - is the iron board cover - combats on - combats off ... A la Karate Kid ...

cherin · 10/11/2014 09:53

Soooo, inspired by SPO, I tried a CJ impersonation with DC this morning, and instead of the usual drill I gave them a revised version: "Oi! Focus up! How long does it take to you two cockwombles to put on a pair of shoes??!!"
(I didn't really use the word. Not that I didn't want it, it's just the thought of being called by the head teacher and having to explain OC-ism and facing social services etc)
DS was still taking his bloody time lacing up his shoes, so I had to reiterate "stay focus! Stay alert! Stay alive" at which point he calmly replied with the nonchalance of early-adolescence "mum, I am Never focus, you know, and I am still alive"
"Well, Lady Luck must have been smiling on you"
...DH shaking his head in disbelief. If I get divorce paper by the end of this week, can I blame tony grounds??

icemist · 10/11/2014 09:55

Love how 3 weeks after it finished we're still getting new members Smile

OP posts:
icemist · 10/11/2014 10:00

Lol! Reason for divorce - CJ obsession

Hubby appears to have forgotten he found my draft letter to BA- he's not mentioned it over weekend and hasn't said anything about me calling him Captain James ??

Off to find out 'photo of the day'

OP posts:
PassTheSherry · 10/11/2014 10:03

Lol - oh cherin that's started my day with a giggle. Grin
Off to a training course - will check back later with my list of names (got 16) so far! Might gonna need a bigger card! Oh hang on that's Jaws...

ihearttc · 10/11/2014 10:13

Aww what an absolute sweetheart...he could have done a very self indulgent Twitter post after all those tweets and attention yet he chose to do something for someone else. I think I love him even more for that.

icemist · 10/11/2014 10:14

I love these shots. Love the one where he's smiling at Molly, ep 1 when you first thought ooh, he likes her

Richtea19 · 10/11/2014 10:25

Lovely photos, brightens up my day!

What an absolute darling posting on Twitter re charity. He using all the attention he is receiving for a good cause. I don't think I could love him even more. Heart is aching!

Off to do Body Combat now, going to be hard but I am going to imagine the instructor is CJ telling me to focus up!!! I can only dream...

icemist · 10/11/2014 11:12

my calendar has arrived Grin am impressed. Its in my bag to be smuggled to work tomorrow

OP posts:
ihearttc · 10/11/2014 12:36

ohhh we need to see the calendar icemist.

Just picked DS2 up from nursery (he is nearly 4) and been told they have to come in fancy dress on friday...is it very wrong that Im wishing I could find a little army outfit at short notice.

Boys fancy dress options are seriously limited-think Im going to get him a dinosaur onesie and send him in that!

cherin · 10/11/2014 12:42

iheart I DO have a military overall, but it's probably size 6-7 yrs...and a military helmet that has a push button which shouts "take cover" and gun sounds...I always felt a bit rubbish at giving in to DS's requests at the time (I am, deep under, a pacifist. I think I have been to more than one protest "not under my name", like Shazza!) but alternatively you can always resort to Fire fighter dress. Have that, too!

icemist · 10/11/2014 12:49

Had to take a photo of this
