PassTheSherry will you write S.W.A.L.K. on the bday card envelope? And like stressybird, please can you ensure there are lots of kisses after my name? (Would my mobile number be a step too far?)

cherin · 09/11/2014 20:04

Just doing some ironing and thinking I could really do with a CJ ironing board cover, preferably one that reacts to heat in an interesting way (maybe combats on...then offBlush).

orphan · 09/11/2014 20:14

Oh and now I'm going down that route, a mug with similar heat change properties would be welcome.

icemist · 09/11/2014 20:14

I was catching up and have forgotten to give the boys their bath. Just remembered now :\ oops

Orphan, again... What is it with you and clothes on and off! ..... Yet another fabulous, original piece of merchandise though. Would Vista print do one of those?

NVM, great to have a family member on the inside.... I hope she will be as committed at you!

Richtea19 · 09/11/2014 20:20

Icemist, not just the bath in our house, it's the ironing, dusting and in fact haven't really spoken to DH since his been home! Boys back at school tomorrow, so in theory time to catch up with jobs, however think I will be back to tumblr, Twitter, Google and DVDs, yippeeee!

cherin · 09/11/2014 20:21

Guys, if there was somebody else in RL that watched the series (but it appears there isn't) we should seriously considering forming a standing-up group, called The OG Posse, and touring the country with our banter. We obviously should go halves with Tony Grounds (not necessarily in a travelodge), but it'd still be worth it.

orphan · 09/11/2014 20:22

icemist yes I'm slightly worried about my one track mind as well.
What about a fluffy hot water bottle cover instead, (fully clothed CJ) then you'd have legitimate reason to clutch him in bed.

monopod · 09/11/2014 20:26

I've just read the latest eros-et-philia fic. fans self Need me some of that... Blush

orphan · 09/11/2014 20:26

I meant richtea!

icemist · 09/11/2014 20:28

I was only thinking before I'll be able to watch DVD again tomorrow as eldest back in school and little one should have a nap at some point.

Think I might do a mug for work to join my calendar.

Sunday TV is a bit rubbish now.

I just bought myself a pair of combat trousers so I can pretend to be Molly Grin I did draw the line before actual camo print though...

Ditto1 · 09/11/2014 20:52

Forget Lego, forget lego Star Wars, forget lego Friends! I reckon Lego Our Girl is the future!

orphan · 09/11/2014 20:57

Nappyvalley Am now imagining your sister with shades and hat pulled low for disguise, tracking BA round Toronto, peering round corners, all to the tune of the Pink Panther for some reason...

Richtea19 · 09/11/2014 21:04

You all make me laugh so much!
Ditto, Lego.... CJ will have wavey "clip on hair" fabulous.
NVM, your sister is officially a MN Agent! Reporting in to HQ. The charity carols is obviously one of our missions in the UK.

Candypop7 · 09/11/2014 21:07

Yes ditto1 my thought exactly. I've at least 50,000 pieces in the attic (waiting for grandchildren when/if they ever arrive) enough for a whole platoon and most of Afghan. Chisled jaws may be a tad too chisled - most are red and yellow though (lots of blood effects and latter got to be good for desert sand?)

monopod · 09/11/2014 21:15

You can design your own custom Lego minifig! Here you go; you're welcome!

monopod · 09/11/2014 21:27

I'm doing ironing and watching Ep 2 and ooh, that look that Molly has on her face when she's eyeing up CJ lifting weights! You can almost hear her sigh...

icemist · 09/11/2014 21:31

Am missing Our Girl tonight, watching Downton, but its not as good this series.

And hubby is not falling asleep on couch like he usually does. SO I cant even watch my DVD, am just trawing through tumblr instead

I clocked that last night monopod. It's like she's thinking that looks good enough to lick. Or maybe that's just me.

Ilovelblue · 09/11/2014 21:51

icemist I agree about Downton - the storylines have been very weak this series. I tried to put it down to the fact that I was totally hooked on Our Girl, watched that live and then recorded Downton, but no, the stories haven't gripped me in the slightest.

I went to Highclere (where most of Downton is filmed) back in the summer and I found that completely disappointing, hence my enthusiasm for the programme has totally waned.

icemist · 09/11/2014 21:51

he certainly looks good enough to eat in that scene. Even smurf noticed her looking

So glad I've found this thread. Can I join in please? I've not met anyone in real life that watched the programme.

I cracked yesterday and drove 80 miles round trip to Sainsburys to buy the DVD as they aren't selling it in Tesco or Morrisons by me and the episodes were disappearing from iplayer.
