I think it was NappyValley in our very first thread who mentioned she hoped Tony Grounds and the director of the series (sorry, name just escapes me for the moment) were monitoring this and if the BBC had paid a marketing company to work out what people liked about the storylines, they couldn't have done any better than us, and we are doing it for free! Richtea Being a woman of routine I always have an egg and soldiers before my Late shifts. I'm adding one of these to my Xmas list, so I can have Captain James with my dippy egg!

Finally got to watch my dvd today. Told DH and DS to go out for a walk without me because I had some course work to do. Watched the car leave the drive just to be safe then settled down with a cuppa and dvd. Was about 10 minutes in when I was rudely interrupted by him IN THE ROOM. He'd forgotten DS's coat. Well and truly caught red handed.

Having a good laugh reading this. Been thinking about the doll, could have a bergan and vallon for accessories and would have to come with a full range of uniforms (mine would always be wearing fatigues). A bag of desert sand to sprinkle over him could be an optional extra! It would have to say "I want you to be brilliant"

Funnily enough waterlogged wellies have recently come back into my life. Just when you thought all 4 children were old enough to have left this well in the past, oldest boy starts rowing and regularly comes back with wellies full of Thames water. Sigh...

Can I just say if there was a BAFTA for best ensemble threading about a TV programme we should be up for it next year. So many hilarious posts it would take me too long to list. I too was bathing DSs and reading. They ended up staying in the water far too long and came out as wrinkled as prunes!

Yes to dolls of all of two section as they provide the comradeship. Manfield Mike could have gangsta nicks and Nude-nut could have blobs of tissue stuck to his face for his "shaving cuts".
