Was it NVM who was wondering what or if we should do something to celebrate BA's birthday?

Well I was thinking we could send a collective card from this thread - put the link inside and signed with our MN names.

(I could sign on your behalf if you let me know you'd like to be included).
Maybe a joint message of birthday wishes? I would send it to his agents.

If that's a crazy idea then ignore me! I realise this may not be in the bounds of socially acceptable behaviour from a grown up...

I just noticed he was following someone new. He seems to follow people he works with so I checked to see what this actor was filming/acting in and it's Reign. passthesherry discovered it's being filmed in Toronto till end of Nov which ties in perfectly. The actor also started to follow BA.

Am not posting this anywhere else though in case I'm wrong. Going to email the production company later

Morning everyone!! Been somewhat absent last few days-real life getting in the way! DH works away and came back Friday so felt I needed to actually talk to him rather than endlessly watch OG!

Still can't hear "Molly" though and it's driving me nuts!

We went to see the poppies in half term and it was really moving. I have never seen so many people though in one place.

I think the birthday card is a fab idea-I'm definitely up for putting my name on it as well.

Ohh I've just googled Reign and it's got Megan Follows in it. I realise no one else will probably have a clue who she is but I spent most of my childhood dreaming I was her!! She is an amazing actress.

Morning all, very impressed with running and bike riding. I am taxi service to boys that need dropping off at various parades this morning!

NVM so looking forward to our meet and greet with BA, drinks afterwards but of chit chat.... Well we can dream. I would think we might get knocked over in the rush of women swooning over him.

MIL arrived this morning, so kind of DH to invite her today when he is Manchester and won't be back for 4hrs.

DH got me the last dvd's a couple of years ago...when they are all grown up and are in France during the war. Don't know if you've seen them but well worth a watch if you haven't.

Am watching the BBC remembrance coverage. Making me cry. There was a piece about a female medic who was killed in Helmand.

Yes! Gilbert!! First literary Childhood crush :-) dragged DH to see the real green gable on Prince Edward Island, years ago. Lovely. Had to pay for the lobster dinner afterwards ("so you made me cut short the hiking in that fantastic park, just to see a house with a barn???")

6,8km, lots of talking with my neighbour-exercise buddy, not much running...but was good anyway. Puff puff pant pant.

Oh wow cherin I am so so jealous...I would love to go to PEI.

In fact Im wondering if I could convince DH to pay a visit...BA filming in Canada would tie in with that nicely.

Honestly? Nova Scotia beats PEI 10 times over. And Vancouver island too. But that's because I really like getting lost in woods and looking for bears, whales, beavers etc. PEI is a bit more civilised, agricultural, lovely in a different way...but not your typical wild Canada ;-)

OK, a bit sacrilegious whilst watching the remembrance coverage, but have just googled Gilbert and feel massively let down as CJ completely eclipses him now. Yet I loved him so much as a child. I tried to get my daughter into the books and series but she preferred the dramatised audio books. She can do a wicked Marilla impersonation.

Am also trying really hard not to picture CJ in the march past that's just about to happen at the Cenotaph.

Just been in a rememberence parade and it was awesome. I live near an Army school, and some of those there must have lost comrades. Makes you think. Absolutely awesome.

Morning everyone. Been running errands and dealing with a sick and grumpy 4 year old this morning so only managing to catch up now.

Glad you enjoyed the posts yesterday and that it is giving you a taste of the ups and downs of the life of a beta ( or gamma) male. It is also a delightful education reading your posts. The idea of a CJ doll made me laugh last night! My thoughts started to wander to a Molly doll but had to shut those musings down very quickly.
