Do you think there's a market for an action man type doll of CJ with a button you can press (discreetly sited somewhere) that plays a selection of the fave CJ lines?

cherin · 08/11/2014 22:35

Well I admit to reading klipdoctor, even during these 3 days of detox. The one-off was good! I like that more than the journal!
Been desperately trying to find something suitable on Netflix to distract me and keep me on the good path, whilst I tackle the last ironing pile. Can't find much :-( tried Ultimate Force (just because its SAS!) but there's not even a vague resemblance to a CJ!

stressybird · 08/11/2014 22:35

Not yet icemist, but I plan to, I just don't want to be let down like I was when I wrote to Wham and Bros. I think I may have written to A-ha too. Anyway, I never heard back. Personally, I think it was my mother censoring my letters.

So my plan for tomorrow is;

  1. Go to Remembrance service
  2. Write to beautiful Ben
  3. Do some homework with DS
  4. Somehow get rid of DH and DS so I can watch my OG dvd
  5. Possibly think about eating - on the plus side, I've lost 4llbs in the last couple of weeks as I either don't have time for breakfast (too busy checking overnight developments on here) and don't sit on the sofa picking in the evening (too busy checking "the news" online)
orphan · 08/11/2014 22:36

And another button that would make the lips twitch.

Ilovelblue · 08/11/2014 22:39

My neighbour has been round for coffee this evening and she confessed, somewhat shyly, that she is fascinated with Steve Backshall from Strictly and rarely watches his actual dance, just dribbles when she is studying his body. After that, it was quite simple to declare my similar addiction to CJ and she did laugh when I said I could recite his dialogue practically word for word. Maybe that's the first stage of my therapy - to acknowledge it to a real person!

icemist · 08/11/2014 22:41

I actually have to work next week- hurry up calendar Might get a photo mug for work....and a mouse mat

Evening girls and SPO, God I laughed so much SPO thinking of you lounging in the pool, you really make me laugh (in good way!)

Welcome newbies, loving all the new points and angles for discussion. Not very productive day today, saw sister and tried to engage in all things OG. She did mention she had seen a few of my Twitter posts (ops!) starting to gush about CJ and she said he looked "ordinary looking" WHAT ,, is she blind! So very disappointing. Another RL person I can't talk to.

Orphan, a dressing up doll, well that is an idea! I am slightly concerned of your obsession of dressing up and undressing of CJ!!!! But I am all the way with you on that one. He could have all different outfits depending on the occasion!

Having thought I would have time to re watch all episodes I failed. However might sneak off to bed for a few tumblr searches!!!!

Good to be back with my OG friends! X

Ilovelblue · 08/11/2014 22:51

Richtea - "ordinary looking"???????????????????????? I would respectfully suggest your sister needs to see an optician very soon.

Well, shed a tear or two during the Remembrance Service. I think it has to be time for bed after that.

orphan · 08/11/2014 23:03

Richtea Now did I actually mention undressing the action doll? (Might have thought it Wink)

Off to bed now - sweet CJ dreams everyone.

icemist · 08/11/2014 23:08

how can you describe that fine specimen as 'ordinary' ???

OP posts:
monopod · 08/11/2014 23:09

Cockwombles all of them. Grin

Richtea19 · 08/11/2014 23:09

Actually don't think you did mention the undressing! Wink But you have hit on a good idea. So much merchandise: calendars, bookmarks, annual, doll. No end to our talents!

icemist · 08/11/2014 23:15

We could earn the BBC a fortune!

Still can't believe they never did a calendar!

BBC should of done a calendar, proceeds to help the heros.
Icemist, tweet tony grounds!!
My DH is away tonight, so I'm going to bed shortly with CJ...... ! Wink

Ditto1 · 08/11/2014 23:26

Thanks for your welcome everybody. I have spent the evening at a Rememberance concert plus have Rememberance parades tomorrow. I will definitely be checking out the guys in combats, there's usually a couple to drool over Smile. Just have to hide it from DH Wink. I think someone should make one of those elasticated facemask thingies of CJ. I could then get DH to put it on, rather than the Prince Harry one!!! Wink

pixieg1rl · 08/11/2014 23:30

Episodes 1 & 2 watched this evening with some subtle rewinding (blamed call from BIL) to make sure I caught the lip biting and winking.
DH thinks I've got a crush on Lacey Turner.

firegirl · 08/11/2014 23:39

orphan I reallly want a CJ doll!! I would go to sleep with him in my bed every night. Do you think DH would notice?

icemist · 08/11/2014 23:41

nah orphan it would be like me and my kindle, they just move it out of the way

Ooh...according to that link, ReignII is currently shooting until 30/11. Which slots in nicely for being back in UK for the carol concert. If it's the same people/series you may be onto something!

stressybird · 09/11/2014 07:51

Morning all. Right busy day ahead for me so getting my Mumsnet CJ/BA fix in first. Just been reading over some of the posts I missed from earlier yesterday and you lot do make me laugh, but I have to give special thanks to SPofficer . The child in over inflated armbands stuck half way down the elephant slide started it but the vision of a grown man attempting the CJ paddling pool position whilst trying to gain some sort of acknowledgement that fellow Dad might be doing the same, just had me in stitches!

MumOfTheMoos · 09/11/2014 09:08

Had a busy day out at the mumsnet blog fest yesterday so am only just catch.img up on the thread.

One of the panel bloggers admitted one of her proudest achievements was calling Michael give a cockwomble in a times column!

orphan · 09/11/2014 09:14

Morning all. (I freely confess that I am addicted to this thread.) SPOfficer you do realise that we're all waiting with bated breath to hear your latestfailed attempts to impersonate CJ?

orphan · 09/11/2014 09:26

Just wondered how many of you have been to see the poppies at the Tower? I took my children towards the beginning and even then, before the moat was filled, it was incredibly moving. I've bought one of the poppies but wish now I had bought one each for my children too.

icemist · 09/11/2014 09:33

Morning.

Have been googling this morning to see if I can find anything to confirm my suspicion that BA had gone to film Reign. But nothing yet. Have followed the Twitter account of show and production company to keep an eye in it.

Not at all obsessive just curious Hmm

Looks like a decent show, and I can see how he would be cast in it. Not being shown here yet I don't think.

Off in a bit to local remembrance service.
