Sorry if this has been addressed before I haven't read the whole thread just stumbled on it. Has anyone notice how they ALL wear the same clothes over the 3 days, sit's so bizarre?! I know it must be for some sort of continuity when viewing but in the real world nobody wears the exact same outfit three days in a row.

FunkyBoldRibena · 26/11/2014 20:48

Those birds were horrid. Absolutely horrid.

And Kelly's canvas, was dreadful.

But apart from that - the right person went IMHO.

Primafacie · 27/11/2014 01:54

I used to live in that converted schoolhouse! Fab flats - mine looked miles better of course :o

DH and I got all teary eyed tonight looking at the pink walls and turquoise carpets. We were very happy there!

R4roger · 27/11/2014 07:19

the converted school house looks beautiful.

Halsall · 27/11/2014 19:03

Anyone settling down to watch this tonight? I'm addicted....

BOFster · 27/11/2014 19:13

I'm here- I love these rooms, I used to live in Edinburgh and lived in a couple of flats with those beautiful features.

BOFster · 27/11/2014 19:16

I really don't think that the modern trend for "mid-century chic" is going to work in these 19th century tenements.

BOFster · 27/11/2014 19:17

Luke's clients look somewhat underwhelmed Grin.

Halsall · 27/11/2014 19:24

The rooms are lovely. I've got friends who live in one of these tenement flats, and they're huge (the flat, not the friends Grin).

Every time I hear Fiona speak, I hear Linda Barker. And Kelly is Caroline Aherne. Very distracting.

BOFster · 27/11/2014 19:26

I'm not really seeing the point of that light fitting- it isn't really very exciting, and will probably come off a bit studenty.

Halsall · 27/11/2014 19:30

That deer head...... Just no.

BOFster · 27/11/2014 19:34

That light fitting won't be dry for a week Grin

BOFster · 27/11/2014 19:35

You can tell Luke has never used gold leaf.

BOFster · 27/11/2014 19:41

Kelly, give it up on the crappy light already!

BOFster · 27/11/2014 19:42

And Fiona has just gone a bit, um, eccentric with her fripperies.

BOFster · 27/11/2014 19:43

The central lights! Bonkers.

enriquetheringbearinglizard · 27/11/2014 19:44

For Fiona the judges say breathtaking and quirky.

I say hideous, cheap and tatty Sad

BOFster · 27/11/2014 19:46

Those weird sticking out squares look like a liability right where you'd want your head to be.

Halsall · 27/11/2014 19:47

It always tickles me that the owners prattle away self-importantly about the rooms needing to reflect their individuality and strong design ideas, but most of the 'befores' are just anonymous blank boxes....if they had any style they'd have done more with the rooms themselves, surely? Hmm

BackToTheFuschia · 27/11/2014 19:50

That wire light is bloody awful!

BOFster · 27/11/2014 19:50

The colour on the wall is nice in Kelly's room.

SwedishEdith · 27/11/2014 19:50

I do wish that, if you paint 1 or 2 walls a different colour to the others, it wasn't called a "feature wall".

BOFster · 27/11/2014 19:51

I adore the wallpaper Luke has used.

BackToTheFuschia · 27/11/2014 19:52

I love that last room!
