I wonder if female french cop is involved somehow?

OttiliaVonBCup · 25/11/2014 22:27

Was Ian talking about Oliie?

Totally lost!!!

NannyHat · 25/11/2014 22:29

I wonder why tony kept looking if he thought garret was responsible, the present day investigation has nothing to do with garret.

pieceofpurplesky · 25/11/2014 22:32

The woman is paris knew who he was - maybe she was Molly.
In an earlier episode French detective said to Nesbit to 'we all have secrets'
I think English copper had something to do with it

GeorginaWorsley · 25/11/2014 22:32

Warming to my theory y hat Tony been in prison.
would explain a lot.
except that then everyone would have known Ken Scott dead, not disappeared,as was said last week.

Back to drawing board...

SetPhasersTaeMalkie · 25/11/2014 22:34

Could the artist be the nice French policeman' s daughter? Sorry if that's been said.

OttiliaVonBCup · 25/11/2014 22:34

That's what I thought Purple
But how did she find him?
Paris is not exactly small.

Amazing episode - don't think Vincent is anything other than someone ian abused (but still think he will be redeemed)
Definitely think the artist will be relevant
??The journalist knows about tony killing ian & maybe them both concealing it (although there must be so much proof on those tapes for a paedo ring)

Not sure I know anything at this point Confused

Ohmygrood · 25/11/2014 22:52

What was it that the teacher's brother said at the meeting? Was it something about Ollie/Brussels?

I think that perhaps Baptiste's daughter is involved somehow. Baptiste has said that she'll go to any lengths to get money for drugs.

ClapAlongIfYouLike · 25/11/2014 22:57

There were some pretty grim paintings on the wall in the artist's apartment: sad and pale children. This made me think she might be Mollie. (Ian painted as well)
I think Tony -perhaps with Emily's help- makes ian's body disappear. And the journalist has discovered this somehow. There still seen to be so many loose ends: Baptiste's limp, Vincent's prison sentence, the blackmailed cop (what does the journalist have on him? Why did he end up in prison?). Creepy liaison officer. And of course where's Olly?

Chefpepperjack · 25/11/2014 23:00

Nana is pretending to be someone's nan! Grin
This thread is hilarious, if you weren't confused watching the show, you would be after reading this!

Ian swore he didn't touch Olly, I think we have to believe that, why else would tony still be looking for answers? Something must happen that makes him believe the abductor is still out there.
Don't think Vincent knows any more
Mark is a bit suspicious, guess there'll be an episode where we find out about when he split from his wife/got together with Emily.
And the guy from the home, unanswered question there.

Also, tony didn't seem to know what had happened to Rini first time round?
That was the 'lead' in Paris.
Maybe that was just a bit badly done.
I was gripped , didn't think it was slow at all.

TywysogesGymraeg · 25/11/2014 23:03

Amber ended the way it did, because its what happens in real life, according to something I read somewhere. In life, people do just disappear never to be seen again, just like Amber did. Bit crap for a TV orog though. l like a definite ending

Clawdy · 25/11/2014 23:05

Wonder why Ian taunted Ollie's dad like that: "He was beautiful, wasn't he?" with that horrible grin...pretty obvious any parent would see red and want to kill him.

rumbelina · 25/11/2014 23:07

Tony will have to watch all 53 tapes to check none of them are Olly. Grim. But will explain why he rules out Ian as suspect in the present day.

It was like Ian wanted tony to attack him, very different from his previous cockiness.

susiedaisy · 25/11/2014 23:10

Vincent def not Mollie he has an Adam's apple. IMO

PoppyWearer · 25/11/2014 23:10

Didn't they say in the last episode that Ian "went missing" and was then legally declared dead.

So his murder was covered up somehow.

Let's see if wifey shows some mettle and gets her hands bloody to help Tony with this one...also, does he share the tapes he found with the police to help other parents know what happened to their children, or sink it all with the boat?

So. Many. Questions!

PoppyWearer · 25/11/2014 23:12

Ian goaded Tony, definitely. Wanted it to end - almost like he wanted to be found out and brought to "justice".

Bakeoffcakes · 25/11/2014 23:16

God that was a good episode!

I wonder why Vincent visited Ian's wife?

I don't understand how wooden woman was cast. The other actors are fantasist and it makes her look even worse.

TywysogesGymraeg · 25/11/2014 23:16

What water? And what's iirc?

Must have been a different interview to the one I read.

Kinraddie · 25/11/2014 23:20

I've not laughed so much in ages, reading this thread. Baptiste hurt his leg in the 2006 car crash (shown a couple of weeks ago) when he was chasing the suspect from the train station. Vincent is not Molly (was someone actually serious suggesting this?). Ian admitted to killing his daughter Molly by accident.

PoppyWearer · 25/11/2014 23:28

I think Vincent planned to harm Ian's wife by way of revenge? But saw the state she was in and relented. And as a neat plot device to show that the stuff on the boat was in her head.
