Sorry for not posting in Telly Addicts, but I don't want the responsibility of keeping the thread going!

I'm really looking forward to this being on again. I hope it's as good as the first series. I was really hooked.

ThursdayOfTheLivingDead · 28/10/2014 21:55

Oh god I'm looking forward to AND dreading this.
Compelling and terrifying

YoooSkylaaaarrrrrggghh · 28/10/2014 21:58

This was great. Didn't it have a bit of a funny ending? Left us completely up in the air. Fab though.

ThreeQuartersEmpty · 29/10/2014 20:43

Did it end with him leaving Belfast with his family on the ferry? Moving to Scotland iirc?
Then he phoned the detective saying how clever he was and had got away with it?

ThursdayOfTheLivingDead · 29/10/2014 22:22

How could you watch it at night jolly?! Shock

I could only watch it in 20 minute intervals at lunchtime! Such a wimp, I find it SO intense

ThreeQuartersEmpty · 29/10/2014 22:26

Oh thanks jolly I might rewatch to remind myself.

Apparently the next series is even darker! Shock

AlfAlf · 29/10/2014 22:32

Thanks for the reminder! It was one of my favourite things on TV last year, hope it's as good this time.

BoreOfWhabylon · 13/11/2014 20:24

Tonight's the night!

TooManyMochas · 13/11/2014 20:37

Its already aired in Ireland (on RTE, the Irish equivalent of the BBC). DH and I spent half an hour yesterday trying to convince RTE's version of iPlayer that my laptop actually resides there so we could watch it - no joy Grin.

AnyFucker · 13/11/2014 20:39

Could anyone be an absolute darling and do a quick precis of the last series ?

Pretty please

Nocturne123 · 13/11/2014 20:43

Was just about to ask that anyfucker! I second your please

fatballerina · 13/11/2014 20:46

Watched it on rte last Sunday-there is THE creepiest scene in it tonight for all you BBC viewers..possibly the weirdest most chilling thing I've ever seen...and its not even a violent bit!Enjoy!:-)

Chocolou · 13/11/2014 20:46

Can't wait. Looks like that's me shitting it for the next 6 weeks!

It's the only programme that has ever got under my skin. Fucking love it though.

Gileswithachainsaw · 13/11/2014 20:47

I'm gutted it's on so late not sure whether to watch it or not but I loved season 1

Nocturne123 · 13/11/2014 21:13

Synopsis from
One of my friends

He kills a few young brunette professionals. She's a bit slutty. He hides in the dark and runs a lot and is a major creep. He tells his wife he's a paedophile so they escape to Scotland at the end of the first series. She doesn't know he's a killer. The last woman he meant to kill is still alive. They start season 2 10 days later and he's still in Scotland but the family have moved home.

AnyFucker · 13/11/2014 21:15

ta Grin

erm, he tells his wife he's a paedophile ? And she runs off to Scotland with him ? What kind of story is that ?

Nocturne123 · 13/11/2014 21:17

There's maybe a bit more to it but i messaged my friend at about 8.50 so probably a very brief synopsis!

miffybun73 · 13/11/2014 21:17

Doesn't he just tell her that he's had an affair?

AnyFucker · 13/11/2014 21:19

there was the schoolgirl wasn't there ?
