I was taking another look at Episode 4 today - well the ironing pile was still pretty high, what can you do! Something's troubled me about the bridge scene every time I watch it. Do you think Molly is not supposed to know what the argument between Smurf and CJ is about? The fact that they are shouting and at one point there is an echo always makes me think that everyone else can hear, but Molly uses her radio to ask Smurf if he is alright and later to tell him to put down his gun. From Episode 5 it seems that Two Section don't know what the shouting was about and I wondered if the first time Molly realises why they were shouting is when Smurf is lying on a trolley in Bastion and says she and the Boss are to blame. Hence the guilt that kicks in. (Mind you, as has been said several times, if she'd just stayed still and pointed her gun at Mr Taliban, none of this would have happened!). Now that could have been interesting - dealing with an enraged Smurf in meltdown and keeping the rest of the section out of it. Although then there would have been no lovely hospital scenes with Molly tenderly wiping CJ's fevered brow! On second thoughts forget that!

Just got to the kilpdoctor part where CJ mentions an NGO, and am laughing...that was my suggestion ;-)
Now I need to go ahead and send laurielove my ideas for the "meet the mother", she can just fill up the hot bits that would never come out of my pen (or to be precise, my thumbs on a touch screen :-)

Having watched ep 4 today too. I think no one can hear what's being said. CJ went to Smurf I think to get him to calm down and drop the gun.

molly only realised when Smurf blames her and CJ for what happened.
It's also puzzling me as to why after spending the lovely time together in Bath Molly only tells him at the funeral that's she's going on tour. Surely they would have spoke in between?? Too many questions and no answers!!!

icemist I think that's why episode 5 felt a bit rushed and the timescales were a bit confusing. I don't think there was the budget for a sixth episode. Five episodes is a slightly strange number. From still shots of the funeral scene there was clearly a lot more footage that was eventually cut.

Hi All. Have just found this thread after being on tumblr. Love the talk on CJ/BA. I was worried I was going to have to stay secret with my obsession. Have watched Our Girl so many times and love the many times CJ does not speak but just does his side nod to say go on. He does it so many times and it is so fabby. I should no better.
Did manage to read klipdoctor's story and it is great? Anybody got any other fan fiction recommendations as there are so many. Thanks

I tried to have an OG free day yesterday, failed miserably dammit and ended up watching some clips! I can't believe I am still so obsessed by this series - it is good to know that others are feeling the same or I would be seeking some therapy! Let's see how I get on this evening.....

Has anyone else seen on Twitter than TG thinks its a great idea to have a public discussion group for OG. He attended a Writers one today and someone suggested it'd be good to have a public one-he agreed and said he'd see what he can do!

How amazing would that be...doubt we'd get BA there but would get to find out loads more about the storylines!

have you seen the #OurGirlAnonymous on twitter? Its a closed FB group and they are just as obsessed as we all are, i've just joined and the actor Nick Preston who plays Mansfield Mike is a member---- well someone who says thats who he is (no reason to doubt really, but you never know)
