A new thread for all things Our Girl as we have already filled up another thread discussing everything to do with the show.

Cherin I used to do British military fitness - they run it in parks all over the country. It's ace - I hate exercising in a gym, but BMF is brilliant. Hard work but really rewarding (and the instructors are all ex-military or serving reserves, mainly army, and they do wear uniform...!)

The BMF website even gives you photos of the instructors at each venue

I was wondering when I was at school this afternoon- what aftershave do you think CJ would use?

Screenshots or publicity photos are best for doing calendars. I think one of mine said it wasn't brilliant but I went for a desktop calendar so should be fine. I use vista print and they are always good.

Twitter or tumblr photos are good. The ones on the OG Facebook page (with most followers) are ok but generally fb have a lower resolution

Right I've been listening to the soundtrack all day (now have People help the People stuck in my head) and feel rather melancholy. It's not the most upbeat of soundtracks is it? But it is beautiful, particularly combined with the pictures I have running through my mind as I listen.

Mmm, aftershave. Difficult one. I'm thinking CJ just out of the shower, smelling all fresh and soapy... Will have to ponder the aftershave question...

Eau sauvage is my dad's aftershave. I love it. Gets my vote. But to be completely frank, I don't really care. Whatever ;-)

I've been reading all your post (haven't commented as yet) and must admit that I'm also completely obsessed with this whole CJ madness! And at the ripe age of 36 too! My husband is oblivious to it and I think it's best if it remains my guilty pleasure! ??
I also felt quite cheated with BBC not allowing us to admire more of the shirtless images of CJ / BA but I had a great pleasure to see him in The Devil's Whore and Compulsion where he definitely let us see more of the 'action' ??

On episode 4 tonight. Just watched the scene where Molly finds out that CJ is married. Do you think CJ knew the extent of Smurfs feelings for Molly? As he looks a bit shocked when Smurf tells him. Don't you feel so sorry for Smurf in this episode.

Yes, I think it probably is shocked because Molly has made it clear that nothing happened and that she loves him. So, he probably shocked that despite not being given any encouragement from Molly that Smurf is still holding a flame for her.

And he's probably just horrified that Smurf is confiding in him as it makes him into a liar - by omission at least.

Obviously I mean he not it!!!

I have googled that sound track but nothing comes up, could anyone advise me how to get it? Ta x

You can find it on Spotify, I think Icemist put the link up a little while ago. I have just bought some of my favourites from iTunes as I kept getting adverts I between some of the tracks. Have them on iPod, iPhone and ipad! My poor family, the're all getting fed up with me!

icemist Yes I really feel for Smurf in that scene. He does the vulnerable, hurt look very well. I don't think CJ had any inkling of the extent of Smurf's feelings and to be honest it was a bit of a shock even for me! It's a bit of a leap from declaring love to suddenly producing a ring, particularly when the love is clearly unrequited.

CLA1978 you do realise that once you've found the playlist that it'll be the only thing you listen to for the next few days/weeks/months? It's a symptom of the madness ( a madness I've fully embraced)

CLA1978 soundtrack is also on something called 8track. Link provided by ThreadNeedle yesterday I think. I listened to it whilst walking to work today. When I got in I was asked what I was listening to. I said London Grammar and was complemented for being 'down with the kids'. If only they knew!
