Thanks klj78 it seems there are two roles when you search. The first was combat team medic for which you don't need qualifications the other is Combat Medic Technician which I think Molly is supposed to be and you're right - for that one you need Maths and English. They must have fudged that issue.

Ah yes, combat team medic is a course/role for already serving soldiers. I found it a bit frustrating that Molly said she had no GCSE's at all!

Just checking in. A day in London, but no Nespresso, East End or West Ham Ground. But had a few sneaky peeks throughout the day at MN!

Not sure about presents for Christmas, I think you have probably covered all the best options. Diamonds always work?!

I would love to go Bath at Christmas and DH and I do normally have a Christmas shopping weekend, but this year already booked for Canterbury. Maybe I could suggest another weekend away, not shopping but 5 star hotel with plush bedroom.... If you know what I mean!!! ( once I get him there, I can drag him to the markets!) I have been to Bath before but pre DH. Problem though - it won't be CJ pushing me on the bed!

I'd love to go to Bath as well...DH travels to far flung destinations all the time with his work so when he is here he likes to stay at home!! Might try to convince him though.

Has anyone else noticed what a good voice BA has got? I've just watched the duet again a few times and he actually really sing!

Christmas presents- I think he'd take Molly away not sure what she'd get him but I know she'd put a lot of thought into it. And I'm pretty sure she'd get some rosabaya

Sorry complete change of subject but just watching Ep5, why would Kinders think that CJ would have a stash of pawn? He looks like the most unlikely person to read those mags?

Richtea the normal procedure in the army when someone dies or is injured overseas is for someone to pack up and itemise kit, this person will remove anything that may cause the next of kin distress, an example of which is porn. I think there are very very few soldiers that would not look at porn, especially considering that they are away from home for so long, and it would be naïve to think otherwise - even Captain James! Obviously mothers and wives don't need to know about that!

Thinking of which. I always thought that Kinders was referring to Mrs James as his mum (as she was mentioned as the one who sent the paddling pool....she was probably also the supplier of nespresso pods, but he still used the excuse of rosabaya to go and tattoo his memory for R&R on Molly's arm ;-)

klj yes I suppose their tours are a long time and perhaps that sort of material is needed! Just don't want to think of CJ with them!

Home alone again tonight which is why I am indulging in more OG. Yes I have had a few glasses of wine already but i have totally decided on my best scene. Resturant : I want you to be brilliant - it means I love you.

I don't think I am alone in saying that I think most of us would love to hear that. I adore my husband, but we don't get to say these things anymore. Bring back the romance! Sorry rambling.... Another glass of wine! And must not type anymore!

I'd been thinking that too that Mrs James was his mother.

His mum definitely would have sent the nepresso pods so it must have been an excuse. And that day they had run out of paper so he had to write on her arm.

Love how we are getting a mention on all these fan fictions as long as it's not mentioned on radio... Although I'd love to hear his response to our discussions

I had toyed with the idea that when Kinders referred to Mrs James, he was talking about Mrs James senior and not CJ's (ex) wife but I chose to ignore any association of our beloved CJ with porn.....

Where's the mention of us in the other fanfic ? Must have missed that somehow!

And yes yes yes CJ's eyes are very dreamy-could definitely lose myself in them.

Ladies you clearly are all British through and through, because all this fuss where I come from is usually dedicated to blue eyes ;-) opposite proportions, of course!

ilovelblue yep it was my man that I meant-I actually went back and read it again and saw it that time. I was obviously in a rush to read it the first time that I missed that bit out!

It seems that lots of people are reading what we have put on here. I've got MN on my FB and it comes up with top threads to read...I keep expecting this thread to come up!
