Here we are again - a brand new thread for more Corrie ramblings.

Can't believe Cilla still hadn't turned up by the end of the last thread.

Still hoping for an enormous cast-cull. Hoping for a bomb / gas explosion / serial killer / all of the previous.

Love the sofa story and loved Sally tonight, at her wannabe posh best!

As IF that woman would fancy Kevin though. Bleurgh.

Yep Tim and Sally are brilliant together, bringing back of bit of fun to the street

Is Sean getting a new bloke, I hope so because he hasn't had a storyline since Marcus

Tracey has no manners what so ever, why does she keep blaming Carla for her wedding being ruined, she turned Rob into the police to save her own neck, I hope that storyline is over, it's beyond tedious

Looking forward to the xmas episodes, maybe someone will finally listen to Steve, I love Steve, one of the best characters in it

The wasp sting! I was in stitches Loved last night's episode, yy to stories like the tarantula, its what Corrie have always done well. (inconsequential comedy, not arachnids.)

Yup, Diane is well out of Kevin's league. Who looks after his son 24/7?

I can't believe Yasmeen actually wants to live in Anna's house, I thought she would want it as a rental property. And how far are they supposed to be travelling from each day if it's just to save petrol money? It was funny when she listed every member of the family now working in Coronation Street, how likely is that! Where do Alya and her brother live? Is it with Kal or their grandparents?

was it co incidence that Diane and Sally were wearing similar tops black and white. good comic scenes.

Re Yasmeen and her brood, seemed from what she said last night her and hubby plus Kal and grand kids all live together? Surely Kal as supposedly successful businessman can afford own place?? Just weird!

I don't know, It's possible that a woman of her calibre may have decided she wants something totally different? After a messy divorce with a high flyer, maybe Kevin's ruggedness is attractive.

OR maybe she's feigning interest to annoy her ex husb?

I don't remember the Molly/Tyrone/Jack scenario and am now googling to find out what I don't know!

They can't all move in to Owen's house. They'll need 4 bedrooms. On the other hand it's not unusual in Asian families for 3 generations to live together, whatever the income.

Oh yes Kevin and Natalie. He must have some hidden magnetism. I don't think it can last long with posh Hale Barns lady as have heard he gets another girlfriend soon. Think this might all blow up in their faces. I saw Kevin in real life recently. He is tiny and gave me a massive grin.

I remember when Kev and Sal got together first, all those years ago, and Hilda didn't really approve of Sally.
I enjoy the way they have Tim and Kev getting on well.
Kev is a fairly dull character, to me, otherwise, despite all the women he has managed to attract, over the years. .

Jill I remember that too. In a bus shelter in the rain.

I watched the episode recently, on dvd, where Hilda has agreed to sell her house to Sally and Kev, and she was happy for them. Awww.

Hope you don't mind me joining in. I am usually a lurker, but I had to come on to say that I saw Andy MacDonald in a panto at St Helens today. There was a few reference to Steve MacDonald, in particular about him wishing he was Steve and not Andy

Couldn't work out where I recognised Diane from -she is Mrs Selfridge isn't she!

Actually just watching another episode and I don't think she is Mrs Selfridge-she just reminds me of her and has a very similar voice.

Haha imagine poor Andy Mac having massive complex about not getting the part of Steve. I wonder if the decision to keep Steve in and not Andy was based on the character or actors? Andy was the more studious clever one who went to Uni.

Still got half of last night's to watch but just wanted to say also loved the sofa scenes and how many times someone said 'from their Manhattan range'

Sinead was acting weird when she went out with Sean but couldn't really work out why.
Hope he does get together with the vicar they'd make a lovely pair!

I too liked the pairing of Sean and the new vicar. It will be interesting to see Emily's reaction when she twigs their relationship. Thought Eileen was looking nice last night.
