Corrie thread - still no sign of Cilla or Fat Brenda but Kim Tate on the horizon

Here we are again - a brand new thread for more Corrie ramblings.

Can't believe Cilla still hadn't turned up by the end of the last thread.

Still hoping for an enormous cast-cull. Hoping for a bomb / gas explosion / serial killer / all of the previous.

I think I noticed a spark between Audrey and Ken the other night, or wasit just me?

I often think there is a spark between Audrey and Ken.

Sparks and that kimono could result in a fire that engulfs half of Weatherfield (preferably the half with Kal's family in it).

It looked rather like Roy was interested in buying the Windass house the other night. I thought then he would let Anna & co stay in it.

Does Peter have anybody in Portsmouth? Or did he just drop a pin on a map?

He always goes to Portsmouth when he's been written out. I think it's because when he was in the Navy he was stationed there.

He's probably got lots of mates there, unlike the army and airforce, members of the RN don't live in quarters when they're at home, so a lot of navy and ex navy people live permanently in and around Portsmouth.

I didn't feel at all sorry for Michelle tonight when she stood on the street squeezing out tears.

I just love Craig, him saying goodbye to Cilla last week was just so sweet.

Please, please, PLEASE, scriptwriters if you do read this thread, do NOT have a Faye pregnancy storyline. Thank you!

That jukebox has an endless, eclectic play list appropriate for all occasions. It also made me laugh when there was a saddle randomly hanging on one of the booths.

I like Craig but he does sound a bit posh sometimes but I like that he and Cilla forged a strange bond as that often happens with young people and an older relative.

I have heard that Owen is leaving so not sure where that leaves the Windasses. Maybe Eddie and his cakes will come back.

And yes scriptwriters do not do the Faye thing. And, even more importantly, do not split up Sally and Tim and please stop Anna patronising Tim as I don't think it will help anyone who is struggling to read come forward. I go against the grain and like Anna but she really irritated me with her 'yay' etc like he was a child.

Norris soon finds out what is in the elusive package...

yy please do not make Fay pregnant - silly, lazy storyline. Also, please keep Sally and Tim together - they have the potential to be the Jack an Vera with much more comic potential - both are brill actors, and especially compared to the rubbish actors - YASMEEN and her family, Izzy, Michelle, Steph and her bro', Katie, Faye, Sawphie and her girlfriend.

Craig - yes - love him. And the way he bonded with Cilla. The boy has potential - please keep him .

I'd like to see Craig and Faye being friends. He was very sweet last night offering her money for the trip, and she might not be such a pain if she becomes Craig's buddy. No way to pregnancy storyline. That's all been done before, years ago, with SarahLou, who I believe is coming back.

It's about time Simon was given a rest, he's had non-stop storylines for well, it seems like years! Surely the actor has exams to concentrate on?

Kal's daughter gets on my tits. I know she's feisty and a positive female role model but she is just a parody of what she is supposed to be! They give her stereotypical lines to say and she can't deliver. Steph or Sinead would be better as the 'feminist' and Kal's daughter could just be a 'fluffy' along with Katie.

I felt sorry for Michelle. Probably the only one...

Tonight was a real 'nothing' episode.
