I think Federer may have it- and will be able to play a better game than against the big serving Raonic.

But Djok is hurting from the number of GS losses
He has only played Fed on grass once. At Wimbledon. He lost.
If the roof goes on, Fed is better indoors too.

I want a 5 set thriller, because I don't care who wins really. I am refusing to move form the sofa. My children will go to school Monday wearing pyjamas, and with a bag of crisps for lunch.

I have been very neglectful of the US open site, and the draw.
I am still in the Slough of Despond, due to the lack of Nadal. And Dogs.

But I have had a lovely day out with dh and the dcs in North Wales, so that cheered me up slightly. It's nothing to do with tennis, but it made me feel better.

I will make amends tomorrow.

Quite a few potentially interesting first round matches scheduled. Would like to see Fed v Matosovic (saw Mat put Tsonga out at Queens). Berdych v Hewitt interesting too but only in that I'd like them both to lose! (Haven't forgiven Hewitt for putting Pot out early last year :)). Hope Cilic can beat Bagdhatis, although like both. And Stan v Vesely could go either way. Starting to get a bit more interested now it's nearly upon us. Anyone else?
