I think Federer may have it- and will be able to play a better game than against the big serving Raonic.

But Djok is hurting from the number of GS losses
He has only played Fed on grass once. At Wimbledon. He lost.
If the roof goes on, Fed is better indoors too.

I want a 5 set thriller, because I don't care who wins really. I am refusing to move form the sofa. My children will go to school Monday wearing pyjamas, and with a bag of crisps for lunch.

Ferrer through to the final. If Rog beats Roanic, Ferrer has to face Fed again for the second time in 2 weeks- when Rog now has a 15-0 hth against him. So, I really want David to win tomorrow.

It's all looking interesting coming up to the US- Djokovic has had 2 bad weeks, Nadal has not yet confirmed he will play, Murray isn't on winning form- so playing as solidly as he has been, Raonic stands a chance.

Or even Federer- complete contrast this year, to last year when he was trying out new racquets and not playing well at all.

Potato is still missed, especially coming up to the US. I really hope he comes back, and comes back well- but think he could get left behind.

I expected a tougher match from Raonic- but well done to Rog- he's playing really well at the moment, definitely benefiting from the absence of Nadal and Djok's iffy game of late. And there's the gorgeous Stefan factor, of course. Shows you can't write him off.

No, Ferrer doesn't seem to be able to read him at all. And there is no real reason why he can't play Roger- but he has to fight to hard for ever point. Even now, Rog makes it all look easy.

theres a apparent controversy and altercation between Shrieky and Ivanovic during their match last week.

Rafa- it could be the most open Open for a while. Maybe Stan will step up, but he hasn't been great since the Aussie. Murray might win, in the absence of any opposition- but hasn't hasn't been at all consistent. I think Raonic stands a pretty good chance of going far- but I'm not ruling out Roger adding to his slam tally.

This time last year, I doubt anyone would have thought Roger would be one of the most consistent performers at this stage.

But I feel very despondent.

And Sock and Posposil (as doubles and singles) are playing well too.

Hello all, just jumping on to say hi, to see how you all are and to catch up. Have had a shit couple of months and that's understating the case . Hope you're all faring better.

Have really not kept in touch with tennis at all since Wimbledon final, bar reading the odd match report here and there. Need to try and get back into it. Have read that Rafa has pulled out of us open though. Such a shame. Knew Pot wouldn't be in it but still disappointed to have it confirmed. Not long now though if all goes according to plan - should be back for Malaysia in September :)
