No - she was floored and he stomped off.
the cunt

beanandspud · 04/07/2014 20:50

Can't beat Squoosh but I do have a signed picture of Jason from his RoS days - a nice letter as well.

If he makes it through tonight (doubtful) I'll try to dig it out of my 1984 box!

Ellenora5 · 04/07/2014 20:51

I'm definitely applying next year

I'm going to hold the door for them, that drives me mad everytime I watch it, or give them a bloody tray

Halsall · 04/07/2014 20:51

Why on earth would anyone pair random lettuce leaves with rack of lamb?

Ellenora5 · 04/07/2014 20:52

That's terrible SpottedZebra, ignorant fucker

TheSpottedZebra · 04/07/2014 20:53

Who brings in the other plate?
Ellenora - that can be you too - multi skilling and all that?

beanandspud · 04/07/2014 20:53

Ellenora you could be on to something there. Would the BBC be interested in a guest appearance from a random mnetter every programme - specifically to do door duty?

TheSpottedZebra · 04/07/2014 20:54

Maybe Charley and RoS can have a cooking show together, where they talk in Actorly voices about the FOOD ?

CalamitouslyWrong · 04/07/2014 20:54

Evening all. They can't seem to decided on a consistent time slot for this, so I'm missing it tonight. DS2's friend's parents didn't come to pick him up from the playing after school thing until 8.30 (DS2 is 4 and usually in bed at 7).

At least I don't have to listen to bloody andi and his polo necks of pretentiousness.

Halsall · 04/07/2014 20:56

It's the polo shirt of pretentiousness today, Calam*. He can display pretentiousness with any neckline.

Halsall · 04/07/2014 20:57

Failed bold there. More Wine needed.

beanandspud · 04/07/2014 20:57

Or the turtleneck of...

Oh no, that would be rude Wink

squoosh · 04/07/2014 20:57

I'd love to go to Biggins' for dinner. I bet the booze flows.

Ellenora5 · 04/07/2014 20:58

Oh yes we could all take turns girls, I don't see why they wouldn't have us, after all we are the best critics Grin and we could choose straws as to who wears the polo neck

Halsall · 04/07/2014 20:59

I seem to recall his CDWM was pretty epic, booze-wise

beanandspud · 04/07/2014 20:59

Bye bye Jason Sad

TheSpottedZebra · 04/07/2014 20:59

Ooh Squoosh you were right!

squoosh · 04/07/2014 20:59

Oh I called that well!

Ellenora5 · 04/07/2014 21:00

Good call for whoever said they would go, thank christ the heats are over, it better get more exciting

TheSpottedZebra · 04/07/2014 21:00

His CDWM was amazing. There was him, Julia Bradbury who was very up for a drink laugh, a pretty boy who was also funny and they both perved over, and Edwina Currie who did not drink and was miserable throughout.

beanandspud · 04/07/2014 21:00

See you all next Thursday!

Fiderer · 05/07/2014 10:38

I was also wondering who the Third Plate Holder is.

Andi P really is a pompous arse, why do they keep bringing him back?

Like Biggins and glad he went through but lamb and lettuce seemed a bit meagre.

fascicle · 05/07/2014 12:23

With regards to plate holding/serving. I noticed last night that they show the first plate being served to celeb judge no. 1, then the cameras/editing goes all mysterious with the serving of the second plate, so they don't overtly show you who is receiving it. That said, I noticed one occasion where you saw Christine's sleeves and hands for the second plate, when she'd already received the first. I also wonder - how long before a plate gets dropped before it gets to the punter? In which case, Greg/John's plate could be whipped away, and they could taste the scrag ends left my the judges.

TheSpottedZebra · 05/07/2014 12:53

I like to imagine that Chez Biggins, your appetite would be somewhat dulled by copious amounts of gin and bubbles.

Fiderer · 05/07/2014 14:09

Grin Yes, it'd be a great night.
