Just watching it now with DH, kids gone to bed stuffed with chocolate. Anyone else enjoying this as much as I am?

I haven't watched the original film yet but I think the storyline is starting to mirror the original movie in a more obvious way (obviously it's based on it anyway). But hey - with BBT around plus Lester, who knows?

It's not true and neither was the film. They just put that bit in to make it more, uh, believable

I'm feeling like I'm watching this now because I've watched this much so it'd be silly to bail out now. I kind of agree it's lost it's way/got bogged down but actually think the skip forward a year may have given it renewed impetus.

P.S despite being able to fast forward, it suffers from excessive ad breaks; I actively don't want to buy a Lexus because of the interuptions from the ballet dancer & the tootling music

I have re watched every episode on ch 4 OD. There is way too much for me to absorb in one viewing on a Sunday night. I might even warm up the computer now to recap on Sunday.

Like that idea Miley. My DH now thinks that the widow of the shot chief is somehow implicated. Not so sure but anything is possible. Also, did the deaf hit man escape from hospital? Even though I have watched each episode twice there is still so much I am confused about.

Yes he escaped, BBT gave him the key to the cuffs and he had already killed the guard. I think it was supposed to be some hitman code of honour thing - he'd killed his partner, who was also his 'ears' so he let him go as he has paid enough. The signing has made me laugh as well, my Dsis is deaf and some of the things the hitmen have been saying have very odd .

Not sure about the chiefs wife, all I can remember about her is that she can't make a decision, hence the repainting of the nursery.
