As far as I know, we can expect the next series around Easter next year, there's plenty more written book still to film! I know they're casting some more Dornish characters, so presumably they'll start filming soon.

I heard they were casting for some pretty important Dornish character. I haven't got a clue about anything Dornish.

I will be catching up on the books before easter.

The Dornish are quite Mediterranean in looks, like the guy who played Oberyn really (wasnt he from Chile?). Dark hair, tanned skin.

I'm the complete opposite sadly. Although I would have been a perfect Ygritte!

It'll be mostly Dornish ladies, so not so much of the Oberyn-like eye candy, but yet more strong female characters.

They are trying to cast the sand snakes and prince doran iirc.

Apparently they have cast the actress who played Ben's daughter on Lost as one of Oberyn's daughters.

I really need to re-read the later books. My memories are hazy after the end of this season. It would also be nice if Martin got his arse in gear and actually finished writing the damn things.
