I try to be very careful not to mention anything at all in detail, as I forget what happens where and don't want to give book spoilers to people, never mind series spolilers! Grin Although the last series had a book spoiler in it!
I was in the middle of reading and, having finished stormof swords wasnt expecting spoilers in the show, but someone showed up in the series who wasnt in storm of swords as they were "dead" (who then came back in a later book). And I got all annoyed at the telly for being wrong, til I got to the appropriate bit in the later book Blush

Oh no worried Sad

Shall we have some spoiler rules? I think this thread should be for GoT season 4 as it's shown on UK telly, so anything that's happened so far is fine to discuss and then we can talk about each episode of 4 as soon as it has aired? But no book chat (I have read them all but I know many people just watch the TV show)?

Thoughts?

It' pretty hard to discuss season 4 without mentioning season 3 so I don't see a problem with that.

I have also read the books so I'm struggling to remember what has/hasn't happened yet. From the trailer it looks like the Dornish are coming

My predictions for season 4 - Lots of sex and lots of violence Wink

Grr, I'm also with Virgin so no Sky Atlantic.
Will either be watching them on Blinkbox if it turns up there, or do this £5 a month 'Now TV' thing that Sky seems to have started. Although I see that's an 'introductory price', with no indication of what it's an introduction to Hmm

I just recommended Preacher on here the other day, on a 'fantasy fiction' thread Grin

If people were looking to stream things online, some may recomend "coke and popcorn" (make sure you turn pop ups off though). Not that I would do such a thing of course...

We have watched seasons 1 - 3 on box set and just finished last week. Sparkly I haven't read the books and avoided spoilers so the Red Wedding left me shocked too!

Really looking forward to season 4. Another Tyrion fan here.

Boulevard Grin I was mad about Preacher when I read it aged 20-21 or so. Think I would be Shock Shock Shock if I were to read it again now (have become a wuss sensitive soul since having DCs, inexplicably).

What is preacher?

I am now up to series 3 episode 6 - Rob Snow just climbed the wall!

This is just so amazing - only 4 episodes left. Seriously distraught - what can I watch next? I felt like this as I was watching the last series of The Wire and it took years to find anything worth watching after that! Grin

I love fantasy fiction and I don't think I have ever watched anything as good as Game of Thrones.

worried Preacher is a comic book series from the 90s. Really funny (but black, black humour) but also really violent, not for the faint-hearted.

Belfast. Loads of it is filmed here. He was with his wife and baby. They were so nice.

I don't know why that does not surprise me. I thought he was going to be an awful character when GIT started but he really is one of the nicest characters in it!

worried I would not go as far as decribing Tyrion as nice... Witty and intelligent, perhaps love-starved, but definitely not nice.

We're still catching up, haven't finished season two yet! It will take ultimate control to not start season 4 before finishing the catch up.

We would have caught up sooner if DH didn't keep pausing it to ask who's who and what's going in a why is this happening... Grrr!!
