I thought that as well davros she said nothing but you could see a thousand things spinning around in her head!! Smile

I think BlueberryWoods made a fair summation. I'm not sure he deserved the vilification he has received... At no point did he come across as pushy I think it was more the editing script - but then I suppose you open yourself up to that, and criticism taking part in a show like this.

Morning!

FatimaLovesBread · 30/01/2014 09:27

Morning Sparkling

Not sure about this one, think they're going for the wrong reasons and she's being too dependant on her daughter. She's still a child herself and shouldn't be making decisions about moving to Oz.

Why Perth again?!

Chigley1 · 30/01/2014 09:29

Feeling a bit sorry for the elder daughter.

northender · 30/01/2014 09:29

Missed the beginning, what's their back story?

Sparklingbrook · 30/01/2014 09:29

Do you think Mum is wanting to get away from everything connected to her late DH? Sad

Totally feel for the oldest daughter=if anything happens to her Mum she's in Oz with 2 children.

Canalside · 30/01/2014 09:31

Hello.

This one is annoying me already. The poor daughter, she's had a lot to deal with.

NicknameIncomplete · 30/01/2014 09:32

What a stroppy wee madam the youngest girl is.

princessalbert · 30/01/2014 09:33

Blimey - rental budget is £1200 per month. I couldn't pay that. Is she loaded?

Sparklingbrook · 30/01/2014 09:33

The Mum lost her DH suddenly 4 years ago north.

Canalside · 30/01/2014 09:33

Know it's been said before, but wish people would be a bit more realistic!

Chigley1 · 30/01/2014 09:34

5 beds and a pool for £1200 a month?

northender · 30/01/2014 09:35

Going back to yesterday's which I saw on catch up, I thought they were pretty realistic compared to a lot on the programme. I felt the pull of the family would keep them in the UK because they seemed to realise how much that contributes to quality of life.

Sparklingbrook · 30/01/2014 09:35

Those horrible fences again. Sad

northender · 30/01/2014 09:36

Thanks sparkling

£1550 a monthShock

weekendninja · 30/01/2014 09:37

Slight delay due to catch up but that poor girl. Her DM is far too reliant on her.

If just doesn't seem right taking them away from their support network, but then thankfully I have not experienced their situation.

NicknameIncomplete · 30/01/2014 09:38

Whoever finds the properties should be sacked. There has to be more suitable options in their price range.

Canalside · 30/01/2014 09:38

Hmmm... that beach looked nice. I miss the sea

Sparklingbrook · 30/01/2014 09:38

What is the point of showing them stuff way over budget? Just show them what they can afford!

Canalside · 30/01/2014 09:39

Thing is that property in Australia is not cheap. I'm sure there are lots of places they could afford, but it wouldn't have a pool, or 5 bedrooms....

Chigley1 · 30/01/2014 09:39

Feeling a bit sorry for the grandmother too, she lost her son and now grandchildren may be leaving Sad

Canalside · 30/01/2014 09:40

We lived in Oz for a year, spent more than half our salary on rent. Was an expensive year!

Canalside · 30/01/2014 09:41

Yes, I feel sorry for the grandmother too.

FatimaLovesBread · 30/01/2014 09:41

If it happened 4 yrs ago when the eldest was 13 then she'll be 17 now. Won't she need her own working visa when she 18?
