I know all you addicts are out there! I am not the only one.

Maybe they should join up with the couple who wanted to move to NZ so the husband could be a snowboard instructor while the wife worked full time as a psychologist.

I bet the wives would have a great laugh together!

WanderingAway · 04/02/2014 12:13

I felt a bit sorry for her, he just seems like all he wanted to do was surf, nothing to do with family time.

I hope she and the girls are happy and settled in australia and he has returned to the uk miserable.

Davros · 04/02/2014 12:58

Ooh I need to do some catching up. In the meantime, anyone who likes to be a bit of a voyeur on Ozzie home life, I just discovered Cone Dine With Me Downunder.

malteserzz · 05/02/2014 09:23

Anyone watching today ? I like this family

Sparklingbrook · 05/02/2014 09:25

Morning. YY i am watching. I remember this family. I think we commented how pretty the Mum was last time.

WhereBeThatBlackbirdTo · 05/02/2014 09:27

Oo, that house in the middle of nowhere is amazing!

No-one for miles, luxury

Vagndidit · 05/02/2014 09:30

Oooh, they're from my area... Blush

Can't picture her going anywhere, honestly. Norfolk has that way with people

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 05/02/2014 09:31

Bahahahaha, what's the point in 10 acres if it's in the middle of nowhere Grin

SavoyCabbage · 05/02/2014 09:35

They are wearing matching outfits at the school. I can't cope.

Sparklingbrook · 05/02/2014 09:39

They are being really sensible. Makes a nice change.

Vagndidit · 05/02/2014 09:40

Why would they even consider a 500k nzd home on only a 60k salary...?!?

Sparklingbrook · 05/02/2014 09:43

You do feel sad for Teo's family. Losing one brother/son, then another emigrates.

malteserzz · 05/02/2014 09:48

They made the move then !

Vagndidit · 05/02/2014 09:49

Wow! Very surprised by that

Sparklingbrook · 05/02/2014 09:58

Good result by the sound of it. Still feel sorry for Teo's family though.

princessalbert · 05/02/2014 15:13

I like this family.

Despite wife not wanting to go really, she compromised for her husband. The DC seemed to fit in well too.

Hope it works out for them. :)

WanderingAway · 05/02/2014 15:40

I am unsure whether they will stay or not. I would like them to do a revisited in a year or two and see where they are then.

Amanda the mum doesnt seem happy.

princessalbert · 05/02/2014 15:47

Was the mum (Amanda?) not able to work in NZ? That might have helped her to fit in - make more friends etc.

I didn't hear any mention of it.

SadFreak · 05/02/2014 19:27

She seemed quite unhappy at the end . It ended with her saying Teo is happy and the kids are happy.

Absolutely no mention of how she felt. Sad

GhettoPrincess001 · 06/02/2014 02:30

Yeah, the bloke is usually the, 'driver' for the move. I'd never heard of the expression, 'take one for the team' until I emigrated to NZ.

It's usually the mum that puts up with being unhappy living overseas as she can see her husband/partner and children being happily settled and does not want to upset the applecart.

WanderingAway · 06/02/2014 09:22

Morning.

I remember this family. He got on my nerves the first time around.

Davros · 06/02/2014 09:24

I am watching today although the spectre of DH is looming! I have certainly heard that expression "take one for the team" many times, it's not a Downunder term.
This thread is nearly full but I can't find that other one. Can anyone link?
I remember today's couple but not any detail, they all blur into one!

northender · 06/02/2014 09:56

Have started a new thread but not sure how to link on my phone Smile
